Text: Gen.1:26:AndGod said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27:So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
IN INNOCENCY AS CREATED
A. This was a Divine image ( Like God)
B. This was a Perfect image ( Without Sin)
C. This was a Godly image (Caring)
D. This was a Loving image (Agape Love)
E. This was a Special image (Just Like God Wanted)
IN SIN FALLEN
Rom 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one
Sin is universal / Guilt is universal
Rom 3:11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
Dullness of Heart / Godless Life
Rom.3:12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
Wanderers / Unprofitable all because of sin
Rom 3:13Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips:
Evil Speech / Malice / Sham-Big Front
Rom 3 :14Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness:
Bitter Toward the Church its programs
Sweet Talk Salty Taste
Ugly to each other and to incoming
Rom 3;15 Their feet are swift to shed blood:
Ready to kill at any cost / Blood in their eyes
Rom 3:16 Destruction and misery are in their ways:
They are never happy and don’t want anyone else to be.
Rom 3:17 And the way of peace have they not known:
Been at war with them selves all their life never know peace
Rom 3: 18 There is no fear of God before their eyes.
No fear of the Lord / No feelings for fellow man
Only see self no one else
IN GRACE AS SAVED
Eph 2:8For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Gods Grace / Gods Love / Gods Gift
There a number of church members today who in all indications saved themselves.
They want Hear / Want follow / Its my way are no way
IN GLORY AS PERFECTED
1st John 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
Perfect / Peaceful / Purity
The first can never be REGAINED
The second can never be REFORMED
The third can now be ENTERED
The Forth will shortly be REVEALED
