My fellow good people of all religions and fellow good people of no religions and the children of God;
Today, there is a great need for us to become the type of human being that our simple existence in these tedious times demands from us. Although, the belief in God is often mistakenly seen as a requirement for people to do good deeds; it, however, is not a required ingredient needed to be a good person. In order for a person to be good, it takes simple actions. To be a good person, it only requires simple sincere communications from us that reveal that we care about other people in our world. To be a good person, it only requires us to see those we pass on the road of life as more than just objects to be used and abused. It requires us to see them as our brothers and sisters. More importantly, it requires us to see them as fellow human beings. However, being a good person is just an illusion of the type of person that is needed in these tedious times.
God created us to be more than just good people because even good people can go to hell. God created us to be more than just Christians, Jewish, Islamic, and other religions, because the words are just meaningless titles anyway. However, the true child of God is designed to be the representation of the powerful God that created us. We are designed to be more than just good. We are designed to be very good. We are called to be our brother’s and sister’s keeper. We are called to be more than conquerors. We are taught to lay down our lives to help someone along the way. The real child of God is designed not only to give the lonely homeless person a ride down the road. We are designed to bring them into our own homes. We are designed to feed them from our tables and house them under our roofs. We are designed to touch the loveless lives around us with the abundant love that God has shown to us.
See the things that are good about a person that is a Christian, Jewish, Islamic or other or no religion are just ordinary for a Child of God. This is because a child of God is really a peculiar person. However, the difference between a good person and a Child of God is not because we are labeled as Christian, Jewish, Islamic, or others. The difference is like the Good Samaritan, the children of God do not need a label to help those along the road. We will lay down our lives to put their lives back together. Remember, all good people are not Christians, Jewish, Islamic, or others and all Christians, Jewish, Islamic, or others are not all good people. All Christians, Jewish, Islamic and other people are also not all children of God. However, the children of God are very good people because God is extremely good.
Therefore, in these hours of desperation and hopelessness, there stand a need for us to evolve into the type of people needed by God. In these tedious times where financial ruins and economic hardships have robbed us of the necessities of our daily lives, there stand a need for the very good people to come to the rescue of those hurt along the highway to the great American Dream. There stand a need for the children of God to come out of church buildings and rescue the wounded travelers that are lying hurt along the road of life. There stand a need for us to become our brothers and sisters keepers. In these tedious and desperate times, there stand a need of us to become more than an illusion of what God created us to be. It is the suitable time for us to become the Good Samaritans that will stop and help those that has been hurt along the way.
