If some has something worth saying, it’s worth our while listening.
The world hang on the words of people like Bono, Nelson Mandela, or Braka Obama because they often have something worth saying, that has and will influence human history.
The Words of Jesus on the other hand influence eternal destiny, they influence what happens on earth and what happens in heaven, they influence what happens in your personal world.
I want to continue to confess that what follows the grammatical necessity “Jesus said” are if received by faith the most powerful life changing words ever spoken in the history of mankind.
Whatever is happening out there in the big wide world most people are concerned about what is happening in their personal world.
Braka Obama may care about our world and want to make it a better place but he does not know your name nor does he know your pain and his words cannot change your eternal destiny.
Jesus knows your name, your pain, your joy, your desires, your hopes, your dreams and His words can change your personal world and eternal destiny.
The stories of the sick coming to Jesus are too many for one message. When the sick came to Jesus He never said to them “there there” “I hope you get better soon” or “I’ll pray for you when I get home tonight.”
The Story Matt 8:1-4 Jesus said “I am willing”
The Story Matt 9:1-8 Jesus said “your sins are forgiven” “Get Up”
The Story Matt 9:27-34 Jesus said "Do you believe that I am able to do this?"
The Story Matt 9:18-26 Jesus said nothing to these sick people. She touched him and Jesus touched her.
In all these stories there is a common link Faith. It is faith on the part of the sick that connects them to the healing forgiving power of Jesus.
Do we BELIEVE Jesus is Willing? Do we BELIEVE Jesus is Able?
The Story John 11:27 "Yes, Lord," she told him, "I believe that you are the Christ, the Son of God, who was to come into the world."
I believe Jesus Is Able, Jesus is Willing. I believe Jesus heals Jesus Forgives Jesus Saves.
