The Land Where People Never Go Free
Revelation 1:17-18 Monte T. Brown

Heart O’ the Hills
Nothing outside of life itself is cherished more than freedom: Mankind will give everything they possess for that most precious thing.
Yet there are countless thousands willing to throw away all hopes of that most cherished thing, and travel continually toward that land where they shall never be free.
John, on the Isle of Patmos saw the Risen Christ, and among the things that he mentioned he mentioned about the Lord, was that He had gird about Him, and He had the keys to Hell and of death.
Now that gives us food for our thought today. No one can take these keys away from our Lord, for if no one is able to pluck his children out of His hand, no one can take these keys away from Him.
These Keys lock all the Saved out of Hell.
Even if we wanted to go there, we cannot! And besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed, so that those who want to pass from here to you cannot, nor can those from there pass to us. Luke 16-26
Keys lock all of the Enemies from Christ’s purchased
possessions: 2.Thessalonians
…so that those who want to pass from here to you cannot, nor can those from there pass to us. Luke 16-26b (NKJV)
These Keys lock the lost into a place of Darkness.
Fire, unrest, and captivity!
With this in mind I would like to share you a few thoughts about The Land Where People Never Go Free
1. There People Never Go Free From Sin:
But if ye will not do so, behold ye have sinned against the Lord: and be sure your sin will find you out. Numbers 32-23
(A) How tragic it is to be in a place where a person must continually have the burden of sin upon them forever. Brethren, when the burden of sin began to work upon my soul, I thought I was going to die.
(B) Can you imagine living forever with that burden on you every minute of everyday? Never a hope of relief! Pitiful thought- yet it is true
2. There People Never Go Free From Shame:
And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. Daniel 12-2
(A) One will be ashamed of the Corrupt life they lived One will be ashamed of their Condition before God One will be ashamed of the Calamity of Wasted years:
(B) No matter who it is, shame comes to every person in that land. Can’t you just hear their moans and groans?
3. There people never go free from sorrow:
And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Matthew 13-42
(A) In my time I have seen people express great sorrow for deeds they have done.
Illustration: I saw a man convicted of robbing a bank, break down and cry like a little child. In Hell it will be millions of times worse.
(B) There will be in Hell, sorrow for every Christian whom they mocked, and slandered.
• There will be sorrow for every Church that was criticized.
• There will be sorrow for every person they helped lead astray.
• There will be sorrow for every invitation one spurned:
4. There People never go free from their senses:
Luke 16
• One can feel verse 23
• One can speak verse 24
• One can taste verse 24
• One can remember verse 25
• One can hear verse 26
(A) No doubt it would be much easier if these senses could escape, but Hell is a land where nothing ever goes free:
(B) Even that awful sense of guilt will always be there, here if we can find some means to sooth our conscience, it makes the burden lighter, but no such thing will be there:
(C) If it were possible people would go stark raving mad, but they can’t"
5. There People never go free from suffering:
Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. Mark 9-44
(A) As long as there’s a heaven, there will also be a Hell, and as long as eternity rolls, people will suffer in the land where no one ever goes free.
6. There people never go free from Satan:
And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast, and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. Revelation 20-10
(A) To have him deceive them, and then to be cast into the same burning Hell with him... No, thank you I’ll take Heaven
7. There people never go free from separation:
Then said the King to the servants, bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping, and gnashing of teeth. Matthew 22-13
Forever separated from the Lord, from the New City, the Saints, and the Blessings.
