Our God is ABLE to do all things!
(Dan 3:17 KJV) If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.
Eph 3:14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, 16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; 17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; 19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. 20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, 21 Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
In my early ministry working with Missionary Evangelist T. L. Osborn I used one of his films called ’The Unlimited God’. It was used to help get the message out that during the citywide crusade that I was preceding in the city, that our God was able to do the humanly impossible in our lives and families. In this message outline I am listing some of the wonderful things God can do in us if we let Him. This message is for both believers and unbelievers.
I. Most important is that our God is ABLE to save to the uttermost.
Hebrews 7:25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
A. Jesus took our place that we might have his peace; he took our sin that we might have his salvation.
B. Jesus came to save the lost, the last, and the least.
C. When God saves us, our sins are forgiven and forgotten forever.
D. When three are shut into a furnace and three become four, that is enlargement through pressure. Watchman Nee
II. He is ABLE to help them that are tempted.
Hebrews 2:18 NLT Since he himself has gone through suffering and testing, he is able to help us when we are being tested.
A. When they first manufactured golf balls, they made the covers smooth. Then it was discovered that after a ball had been roughed up one could get more distance out of it. So they started manufacturing them with dimpled covers. So it is with life; it takes some rough spots in your life to make you go your farthest.
B. In order to realize the worth of the anchor, we need to feel the stress of the storm.
C. The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy. M. L. King
III. God is ABLE to subdue all things unto Himself.
Phil 3:21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.
A. God can take that which is even of no use and make it wonderful.
1. God uses broken things.
a. It takes broken soil to produce a crop.
b. Broken clouds to give rain
c. Broken grain to give bread.
d. Broken bread to give strength.
e. It is the broken alabaster box that gives forth perfume.
f. It is Peter, weeping bitterly, who returns to greater power than ever.
IV. ABLE to deliver from the fires of life.
Daniel 3:17 If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.

V. He is ABLE to build us up.
Acts 20:32 And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.
A. Living in the Spirit will cause us to be built up in Christ, Faith and Word.
(Jude 1:20 KJV) But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
VI, He is ABLE to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think.
Eph 3:20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
A. God’s restrictions not only hold us down, but they also hold us up. We will never achieve fulfillment unless he is in control. Erwin W. Lutzer
B. People can meet superficial needs. But only God can meet our deep needs.
VII. He is ABLE TO HEAL AND SET US FREE.
Matt. 9:28 And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord.
A. A recent survey at a meeting of the American Academy of Family Physicians revealed the following:
Percentage of family doctors who:
--are convinced that religious belief can heal: 99
--believe the prayers of others can help a patient’s recovery: 75
--believe faith-healers can make people well: 38
VIII. Our God is ABLE to keep us from falling.
Jude 24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
(Acts 20:32 KJV) And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.
A. We ask you, Master, be our helper and defender. Rescue those of our number in distress; raise up the fallen; assist the needy; heal the sick; turn back those of your people who stray; feed the hungry; release our captives; revive the weak; encourage those who lose heart. Let all the nations realize that you are the only God, that Jesus Christ is your Child, and that we are your people and the sheep of your pasture. 1 Clement
B. We do have to fall. His eye is on the smallest bird, he knows the amount of hairs on our head. What we need to do is open our hearts and make Him Lord of our spirits, Lord of our minds and Lord of our bodies. Let the Unlimited God be the God who is able to do all things needed in your life and family.
