Heart O the Hills
Introduction
God owns the cattle on a thousand hills; he owns the gold and silver of the world.
The collections of his precious stones are as the sands of the seas.
His home has streets of gold and walls of jasper!
The universe is as his command.
The beast of the field’s lye down at his feet!
The winds stop at the sound of his voice.
The raging waves of the sea lick his feet.
So with all this, what is “The Best That God Has”?
He has created all things and nothing is over him!
Yet in all his glory and all his greatness he took time to create mankind.
• A creation above all his creations!
• A creation he loves best!
• A creation he made in his own likeness!
• A creation that has a free will!
Of all the things that God has and will ever create, nothing does he love more.
Why? God so loves mankind that he gave his only begotten Son.
What greater gift could have been given?
What greater love, could have been shown?
Yet the The Best That God Has does not give back the best it has!
It seems that “The Best That God Has” gives to God out of their surplus!
We serve him from leftovers.
• If I have time leftover in the morning, I’ll study God’s Word!
• If I have time leftover at the end of the day I’ll pray!
• If I have time leftover this week I’ll visit for God!
• If I have time leftover this weekend, I’ll go to church!
Yes we truly serve God with leftovers.
We feed our physical bodies three hot meals a day and our spiritual bodies one meal a week.
The Best That God Has is what we give back to him.
THE BEST THAT GOD HAS IS WHAT WE GIVE BACK TO HIM!
• In Our Lives
• In Our Praises
• In Our Prayers
• In Our Tithes
• In Our Giving
• In Our Souls
Please stand in honor of God’s written Word as we read our passage this morning from John 3:16.

John 3:16
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
Prayer
The Best That God Has Should Serve Him in Our Souls
Through conversion!
The Best That God Has Should Serve Him in Our Lives
Through our daily service to him!
The Best That God Has Should Serve Him in Our Praises
In the church services and daily living!
The Best That God Has Should Serve Him in Our Prayers
• Our prayers of praise and love to him!
• Our prayers for the lost!
• Our prayers for the church!
• Our prayers for Christian brethren!
• Our prayers for the world!
The Best That God Has Should Serve Him in Our Tithes
That which is already his!
The Best That God Has Should Serve Him in Our Giving
That money which we give that is above our tithes.
The Best That God Has Should Serve Him in Our Time
If we are to tithe a tenth of our earnings shouldn’t we at least give Him a tenth of our time.
Conclusion
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
