Mephibosheth – 17 year old when he came to David
Meaning – destroying the shame
1. He lives in LoDebar ( without pasture)
In the house of Mechir – meaning “Sold”
Also he was crippled in both feet – not just one foot.
His place does not give any hope for him.
The people who live with him are not giving any hope.
People are back stabbers.
The minute they get will use to sell them out.
Sold out to the Devil the dreams.
2.He became crippled
He did not born this way – life brought him many tragedies.
His nurse’s carelessness caused this crippled situation.
IT IS CALLED LIFE -TRAGEDIES ARE PART OF IT
May be some one caused you to become crippled.
May be some one is the reason for your failure
Blaming on some one and finding reason for not doing anything means stay where he is and die there.
3. Your carelessness may be the reason for many to become crippled in their life. Nurse dropped this Mephibosheth and he became crippled.
You think you can play with some one’s future.
He became handicapped because some one else’s negligence.
The thing you should do and you didn’t you cause some one’s life being crippled.
The choice you made crippled some one
Because you did not have good stand you drop some one and made them crippled.
Because you were not careful in your decision and some one still suffering.
One nurses carelessness change one’s destiny and meaning of life.
4.His physical condition never allows him to see the King or the city of David.
King had ordered that no crippled allow coming to the city of David.
God commanded that no crippled would enter in to the city of God.
Some people are still trying to enter in to the kingdom of God with their own ability.
Adam why are you hiding
5. He knew some one name ZIBA- means strength.
Devil I may be weak
Satan, you made me handicapped
I know that here is no way out in this situation with my own ability.
You said I would never enter to the city of David
You said I would never enter to see the King
You said I would never inherit what belong to me
You said I would never inherit my birthright.
You said I would never prosper.
You said your fasting is in vein
You said your life is ended
You said your dream in only in this closed room
You said your destiny is a dead end
You are crippled – you are crippled – crippled –Every day devil said that.
But
Devil hear me –
I do not knew the theology, I do not know the details, I do not the Hebrew, I do not the Greek, I do not know how to pray, I do not no the motion and style of religious worship, I do not the how to be cute and look good, I do not know to put a fake smile or a religious display, my dreams are shattered, I am broken.
I KNOW SOME ONE CALLED ZIBA- MEANING STRENGTH.
Do you know some one who got strength?
Do you know a lawyer?
Do you know an advocate?
Do you know a wrestler?
Do you know some one got connections
Do you know some one who know the hot line number
Mephibosheth was crippled but know some one whom got the strength.
HOLY SPIRIT. - Is my strength, give you strength He will give you life,
He will make you whole,
6. ZIBA did what he could for Mephibosheth and that brought blessing to him.
He could easily ignore this crippled “dog” as his own words.
But he decided to bless him by telling the king about him
You can do some interceding for some crippled.
You can do some interceding for the broken people.
You can do is help some one to come out the crippled ness in this world.
Some of you are doing a lot to do that; if you are not doing it my beloved it is time to show your strength to bring some to connect to the KING.
There are many who are dropped by religion, family, friends, girl friends, boy friends, sickness, churches, pastor, leaders, politicians,
YOU CAN HELP THEM – PRAYER IS NOT ENOUGH
Get out from your situation and connect to the KING.
7.David called him by name –
Mephibosheth – meaning – destroying the shame
David was reminding him about his meaning of life-
David was asking him “do you have any idea what was the plan of God about your life”.
David was telling him that when they named you with the name Mephiposheth-
You are ordained form the beginning before the foundation of the earth.
You are preordained to change the shame of your family
Your are ordained to change the shame of the past
You are ordained to change the shame of the present
You are ordained to change the shame of the future
May be you are in a land there is no pasture
May be you live among the people who might sell you out.
But there is a destiny and purpose for you.
I came to tell you that you that the one god is able to change the shame to honor.
Don’t say that you cannot do it
You are predestined to change the shame, curse of the enemy, power of the evil.
It might not look like you are the one, you don’t feels like you are the one, your educational and physical condition tells you that you are not the one, you can not even do anything with out some one’s help
You are totally helpless
But David called by his NAME.
David know his name, he know what is in you,
He knows his potential; you have in you- your destiny.
8. Changed the position not the situation.
David said you wanted to see your situation changed but I am not doing that but I am going to change your position.
Do you know that some of your prayer that changes your situation is not being answered that God wants to change the position not the situation.
9. The reason of your position is your father not you.
The reason why the situation did not changed is to show that you should also be dead with others.
To remind you of the power of grace. To remind you that you are not the reason. It is the power of God working through you.
Once Paul prayed for something. And Lord said – my grace is sufficient for you.
In the situation you are going though let the grace cover you to over come the situation.
10. David gave meaning to his life
he couldn’t find the purpose of his life. But David’s limousine came to his home one day. To give a meaning for his life.
The very same David is here to day to give you meaning for your life.
11. David gave his inheritance.
He was part of the Kingdom, but the failure the past took everything away, his own weakness physical condition- hinders him from receiving it.
What ever you lost in the past, what ever you lost in the years of failure, whatever you lost because of careless handing and your foolishness. You cannot fix the past but you can change the future. You need to go with David, you need to listen to David, you need to obey what David says.
12. David gave a place in the palace
David gave a place in the palace, a place by the table, a place with royal people, REMEMBER HE IS STILL HANDICAPED.
When his limousine arrives to the city gate the guard look to him and said – Don’t you know that no handicapped people allowed in the city of David.
You are not allowed in his city. It is the decree of the king.
Article IV. Section 9 Part b. Says – do not allow any handicapped in the city of David. (2 Sam 5:8) That day David said, “Whoever wants to defeat the Jebusites must reach the lame and the blind who hate me by using the water shaft.” So there is a saying, “The blind and the lame will not get into the palace.”
He will pull a key of his room in the palace. Can you identify this key? This key is of the palace rooms, How did you get it, you are not suppose to have it.
The every same man gave the decree gave me this key. He came once to my home where I was and called be my name and gave me this key and said if any one ask you or stop you when you walk through this city just mention my name. May be they do not know you but they know me.
13. David changed his address.

The system says he was handicapped. He can not get mail here.system says he failed and became no eligble to have an address in the book of life of the King.
The system says he can not have it then WHY,WHY…..
The filtering system picked this name and address as not allowed in the city. But the guard must have to give every mail because he has an address in the city of David.
14. David covered his shame.
Every time when there is a dinner this mephiphosheth comes to the table. By the side of the table there are chares, he sit on these chares. After he sits on there chairs he will cover his limitation with the tablecloths. No one can see that he is handicapped any more.
Our Lord Jesus covered us with cloth of righteousness to cover my shame, David covered him, do not allow the guilt of the past hinders from reaching your destiny, If Satan remind you about your past just tell the devil it is true that I have a bad past I was worthless, that you for telling me about it. It reminds be about my own inability but one thing I like you to know - I know about by future and also your future. When my savior will tell you to go the eternal hell I will be there to watch and see your facial expression. And that is not going to change.
15. David gave a permanent place to stay.
God gave a permanent place to stay. This palace is not a vacation place. You can stay here forever and ever.
I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
