His Command is my Enablement!
Matt 12:9-13
9 And when he was departed thence, he went into their synagogue:
10 And, behold, there was a man which had his hand withered. And they asked him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath days? That they might accuse him.
11 And he said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out?
12 How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days.
13 Then saith he to the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it forth; and it was restored whole, like as the other.
He performed seven miracles on the Sabbath day!
He showed that love is stronger than the law!
He is the Lord of the Sabbath!
He commanded an impossible task!
In the command was also the strength to do it!
Who can be saved?
With man it is impossible, but with God all things are possible!
I can do all things through Christ that strengthen me!
There is power in Obedience!
He gave the Holy Ghost to them that obeyed him!
John 11:43-44
43 And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.
44 And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.
The enablement came with the command!
John 5:8-9
8 Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.
9 And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath.
Power to do the impossible!
Ex 14:15
15 And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? Speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward:
God gave the command, it was not up to them to decide how they where to cross the sea, just obey the command!
Num 21:9
9 And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.
Jesus told Peter to Come, all he had to do was obey, and he would do what he had never done before.
Jesus said cast your nets on the other side, Peter said we have fished all night and caught nothing, never the less at thy word.
When they obeyed their nets where filled to over flow.
Mary told the servants what so ever he says unto do it!
He told the blind man go wash and he came back seeing!
If he has commanded you to Repent....Repent and leave the rest to God.
If he has commanded you to be Baptized....be baptized and see what God has to store.
If he commanded you to be holy...don’t worry about the impossibility, act upon the command!
1 John 5:3-4
3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
The power to heal, save, and deliver is in the command he gave for you to obey.
