LAMP THAT BURN CONTINUALY
Objective:
1.To give awareness to brethren that they are light,
and they have a purpose.
2.To give instruction to those who want to burn
continously
3.To give encouragement to those who face a shortage
of light because of shortage of oil cause by
impurity
4.To give added knowledge to those who continued to
light ,to make them more efficient.
Text: Exodus 27:20
And thou shalt command the children of Israel, that they bring thee pure oil olive beaten for the light, to cause the lamp to burn always. (KJV)
Introduction
If you are a person who marveled at how much people expect and demand from you and your planning to hide your identity as Christian, this message is for you.
If you a person who was full of trials and planning to run away from God this message is for you.cause your light to dim
If you are a person who wanted to follow Christ but see yourself as failure and now your planning to quit, this message id for you.
Please let me share a good news news for you. You don’t need to run, you don’t need to
Hide, and you don’t need to quit.
Lets pray:
By the time a person becomes a follower of Jesus Christ he became a light. But during the passage of time and process in that time , many were made flicker,some dim their light, and many refused to be called light anymore.
In this passage God instructed Moses a very specific command to keep the light burning in the temple. God command the Israelites to prepare a pure oil to keep the lamp burning.
If you have been burning for God before, but now you see your light dim,flicker ,and almost put off, I have a very good message for you, God had shown the instruction for us to burn not just for a moment but continually.
1 We are called to be light. Mat 5:14. Accept Your Identity .Light signifies us.
You are the light of the world.
You did not said that ,Jesus said it.
When you accepted Him , He told you who you are.
You may not know it, you may ignore it, or you accept it.
Many Gods children , realized that they are already a light they hide their identity.
You cant hide your identity
Can you hide your identity?

You blame your child, blame your husband,blame your church, and sometimes begin to blame God.
But otoosan comes and say , you are not like that, you are a light.okashi na!!
You like to hide but you are already a light.
A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Mathew 5:14
Jesus said you cant hide.

Mat 26:69 While Peter was sitting out in the courtyard, a servant girl came up to him and said, "You were with Jesus from Galilee."
Mat 26:70 But in front of everyone Peter said, "That isn’t so! I don’t know what you are talking about!" (he ignore that he is light)
Mat 26:71 When Peter had gone out to the gate, another servant girl saw him and said to some people there, "This man was with Jesus from Nazareth."
Mat 26:72 Again Peter denied it, and this time he swore, "I don’t even know that man!" (he denied that he is light)
Mat 26:73 A little while later some people standing there walked over to Peter and said, "We know that you are one of them. We can tell it because you talk like someone from Galilee."
Mat 26:74 Peter began to curse and swear, "I don’t know that man!" Right then a rooster crowed, (he betrayed that he is light)
Mat 26:75 and Peter remembered that Jesus had said, "Before a rooster crows, you will say three times that you don’t know me." Then Peter went out and cried hard.
Peter cant hide his light. I f you have been with Jesus, you have a new identity.You are a light.
You cant hide your identity but if you hide you will be exposed.
Peter tried to hide, but he was exposed
He was exposed by those who recognized him ,v.69,v.71, v.73
He was exposed by the Lords word v.75
He was exposed by the Holy Spirit v.75
When you are exposed, you will cry a lot.
But when Peter realized he cried a lot.
Jesus said you cant hide your Christianity, you will be exposed one day.
Jesus you are a city on a hill. You are well known.
The only thing we should do, accept our identity.

2.We are called to burn that light.
A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Mathew 5:14
Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Mathew 5:14
A lamp that has no light doesnt look like a lamp at all. A lamp was made to light especially during dark times.
The world does not care if you are hurting or suffering or in pain.
The world had been taking for granted that you are a light and should be burning.
The world knows who you are and what is your use.
They expect you as a lamp that guides them.
They don’t care if you are crying or sad or lonely, you must give light because that who you are.
The experiencing God , don’t blame the darkness if the situation become darker because darkness is just doing his job.
The only thing that will banished darkness is light.
So the problem is not in the darkness but in the light.
Illustration .Judah –Im alarmed one day because she had actions she learn from school that I don’t agree and don’t fit the faith I live in.
Should I blame the classmate, or blame the teacher , or blame the surrounding or do I have a fault if my Judah does not speak the language I speak.
We had a conference because Judah must see the light in me or she will accept that the darkness shes knowing is normal.
Jesus said, Judah lets pray.Dad said, Judah lets sleep, Friend say Judah lets play. Judah chooses Jesus , and make me very happy, my 7 year old need to see more of my light now than ever.
I told my wife there should be a difference between our house and her school. Judah need to realized .

We need to burn and give light
3.We are called to burn that light continuously .
It is said that may Christian are burning bright on Sundays.
But we are called to burn always.
We are not made Christmas light that only burn for a season.
We are made highway light. Imagine driving a highway with those light off
The result is unimaginable. Chaos ,disaster, and confusion.
We are called to burn always, because once you put you’re your light, darkness will take over.
Do you remember when you put out that light.
There is strife, confusion and lots of problems.
Unless you burn and give light again , it wont stop.
The highway light cant afford to dim,or flicker,or have a time out because danger can come unexpectedly.
We cant afford to keep our light off even during night time when it is lonely because you notice no one is passing by.
We cant afford to keep our light off even during a storm.
We cant afford to keep our light off,even because of the heat of the day, even in the cold of the night ,or in the severity of the storm.
We are called to burn continually

The Secret of continous burning
You may say ,Pastor its ok for you to do it because you don’t have problem , but me I cant because you know my life is a mess , Im hurting right now , I hardly move on because of struggles and trials.
Or you may say,Pastor I like to give light but I cant, I want to live for God and be a guide to others but I fail.
I m trying but I think Im a failure. My life is beaten ,im a crush person. E.
1.The beaten oil
Don’t you know what kind of oil is needed to keep the lamp burningE.
And thou shalt command the children of Israel, that they bring thee pure oil olive beaten for the light, to cause the lamp to burn always. (KJV) ..it is beaten oil.
2. The beaten oil is like your beaten life.It can bring out pure powerful testimonies that burn always
James 1.2
(ESV) Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds,
(GW) My brothers and sisters, be very happy when you are tested in different ways.
(CEV) My friends, be glad, even if you have a lot of trouble.
James1:3
(LITV) knowing that the proving of your faith works patience.
(MSG) You know that under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colors.
James 1:4
(GNB) Make sure that your endurance carries you all the way without failing, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.
(GW) Endure until your testing is over. Then you will be mature and complete, and you won’t need anything
3. Your beaten life must be brought to Jesus so your light will burn always
God Instructed us to bring it to Him
Bring to God that beaten oil.
Bring to God that life that always hurt and flowing with oil.
The Lord knew that you will fail, you will be hurt, you will fail again
But God knows that already.(ESV) For he knows our frame; he remembers that we are dust.(GW) He certainly knows what we are made of. He bears in mind that we are dust. Psalm 103:14
And He has a plan for that beaten life.
Matthew 11:28 (EMTV) Come to Me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest.
(DRB) Come to me all you that labor and are burdened, and I will refresh you.
Conclusion
Exodus 27:21
(GW) In the tent of meeting outside the canopy where the words of my promise are, Aaron and his descendants must keep the lamps lit in the LORD’S presence from evening until morning. This is a permanent law among the Israelites for generations to come.
I wonder why the lamp is not inside the Holy of Holies, it is outside because the priest and the people use to gather there and without the light .there would only be darkness.
