Sitting In The Middle Of A Dark Room With My Games On The Floor
Job 24:13-17
13 They are of those that rebel against the light; they know not the ways thereof, nor abide in the paths thereof.
14 The murderer rising with the light killeth the poor and needy, and in the night is as a thief.
15 The eye also of the adulterer waiteth for the twilight, saying, No eye shall see me: and disguiseth his face.
16 In the dark they dig through houses, which they had marked for themselves in the daytime: they know not the light.
17 For the morning is to them even as the shadow of death: if one know them, they are in the terrors of the shadow of death.
I’ve entitled this today: “Sitting In The Middle Of A Dark Room With My Games On The Floor”
From almost the beginning of time there has been a rebellion against the Light.
The Light, this morning, is Jesus and the things of God.
The darkness hates the light, what communion does darkness have with light?
Satan, which is the darkness, hates anything to do with the Light, the ways of God.
Job 24:13
13 They are of those that rebel against the light; they know not the ways thereof, nor abide in the paths thereof.
In this life we live, we are all on a path, and that path is taking us somewhere.
Psalm 27:11
11 Teach me thy way, O LORD, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies.
Psalm 119:35
35 Make me to go in the path of thy commandments; for therein do I delight.
God has a path way, and all we have to do is stay on the way in which He leads you.
Job 24:14-16

People think that they can do whatever they want because no one can see them.
What they don’t realize is that God sees and God knows all that we do and say.
Some times we sit in our own little space and we think no one else sees or cares what we do.
The people in the dark, a lot of times, have no desire to know the ways of the Light.
What are we doing in our room, and who is feeling it?

Dream 5-4-04
I dreamed that I was at McDonalds, my car was broken down. Tom Hale showed up and was replacing something in it. He went to get a part and never came back. He also had the old part. I stopped someone and they called Tom. He said that it did not matter; he said that I was playing in the middle of a dark room with my games on the floor.
Scene change
I was in a dark room trying to get to work. I was on a bicycle. I would peddle but I wouldn’t move. It was like I was falling asleep.
Interpretation
I was at work and my car broke down, work what I am supposed to be doing for God.
Car represents my life.
A lot of times, we as Christians, seem to break down in our walks with the Lord.
The problem is, instead of asking for Godly counsel, we ask for worldly help.
Tom was my old friend that I used to run around with when I was in the world.
The world tries to help but cannot because they are not living in the light of Christ.
In this situation, the world notices where I was at.
He said that it did not matter; he said that I was playing in the middle of a dark room with my games on the floor.
When we are in a dark room, the world notices.
Are we in the middle of a dark room with our games on the floor?
The world is watching, and believe it or not, they are taking notice of your life.
Scene change
I was in a dark room trying to get to work. I was on a bicycle. I would peddle but I wouldn’t move. It was like I was falling asleep.
Are we in a dark room trying to get to work on a bicycle, peddling?
Bicycle peddling means work of the flesh.
Are we falling asleep in our walks? The world is noticing.
2 Corinthians 11:13-15
13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
Is flesh at work in our lives?
Galatians 5:19-21
19Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
Are you sitting In The Middle Of A Dark Room With Your Games On The Floor?
The world is watching you to see how you deal with what is going on in your lives today.
What are you reflecting? The light of God or the darkness of Satan?
Isaiah 5:20
20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
We live in a generation that calls evil good and good evil.
We’re not a part of those who are putting darkness for light, are we?
We are Christians who ought to be reflecting the light of God in our situations.
In my dream, I had games on the floor that I had been playing; do you have games on your floor?
Are you walking in the Spirit or are you walking after fleshly things?
Satan wants to deceive you this morning, He hates you and He wants to see you fall by the wayside and quit following Jesus.
John 10:10
10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
Satan wants to steal from you; he wants to kill and destroy your walk with Jesus today.
Jesus came that we might have life and have it more abundantly.
If your sitting in the middle of a dark room today, it is decision time.
You can keep playing your games with God or you can really focus on the abundant life He wants to give you.
I have a question for you today. When your family and friends see you, where do they see you?
Do they see you at places that you should not be?
Do they hear you saying things that you know are wrong?
Do they see you playing games with God in general?
Church, it is time to pick up your games off the floor and start to give it all to God.
Don’t compromise your walk today.
Hebrews 1:1-3
1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
God is speaking today; we are supposed to express the image of His person.
Church, if we are in a dark place in our walk it is time to step into the Light of Christ.
If you are setting in the middle of a dark room with your games on the floor it is time to step into the light of God this morning.
I told you all a couple of weeks ago that I had a dream I was in a room and the room started to fill up with water. I looked over and there was Jesus.
As long as Jesus is in my room, I will not be hurt by the enemy.
I didn’t say I would not go through situations I don’t understood or even like.
Jesus is in my room now, I am no longer Sitting In The Middle Of A Dark Room With My Games On The Floor.
The water that comes from God’s Throne Room is now flowing in my situations.
I am on the winning side.
Romans 8:
36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
If you want out of your dark room today, step into the light.
