THE MENTALITY FOR SUPERNATURAL OUTREACH
(POWER EVANGELISM)
Soul winning is the greatest ultimate call of every believer – Mk. 16:15-20; Matt. 28:18-20.
Hence the rewards are great – Jn. 15:7-16; Dan. 12:1ff; Job 5; Prov. 24:14.
It guarantees breakthroughs in my life.
It is the key to stopping every storm.
Some storms will never cease until we start winning the lost – Jonah 1-3.
It is the key to Jesus’ return to establish the Kingdom – Acts 1:6, 1:8; Matt. 24:14; Rev. 11:15
MY MENTALITY
I am destined to seek and to save the lost – Acts 1:8.
There is a worthy man for me – Matt. 10:11.
It cannot happen if;
I am poor, depressed, broken and defeated – Ecc. 9:16; Ps. 67:1-2.
Following signs and wonders
I am the oppressed – woman with the issue of blood, blind Bartimaeus (Obad. 1:17)
I am bound.
I must see that the harvest is not only ripe (Joel 3:12ff; Jn. 4:34ff, Matt. 9:36ff) but it is mine – Ps 2:8
Reaping the harvest involves supernatural power for signs & wonders – Matt. 10; Acts 1:8; 4
I am here “ambassadorially” with delegated authority – 2 Cor. 5:17-21; Matt. 10:1-5.
This is accompanied with the anointing or power of the Holy Spirit – Acts 10:38; Jn. 20:21.
I must stay filled with the Spirit – Eph. 5:18-20.
Spiritual sensitivity is important – Acts 8.
(Prayer and Fasting – Is. 58)
I am not alone – Corporate Anointing is available.
I cannot do it all; there are other labourers in the body.
Instead of doing their work, pray that they work – Matt. 9:36ff; Ps. 110:3; Ps. 82:4.
I must be bold and radical – my Faith works – Acts 14:3; 4; 1 Thess. 1:8.
I must expect the power of God to manifest through me – Mk. 16:17-20; Is. 41:10.
I must do it i.e. I must evangelise; I must seek and save the lost – Lk. 19:9ff.
Until I win the lost my work on earth is not done – Pr. 24:11; 1 Cor. 9; 2 Tim. 4; Jude 20-23.
God is counting on us to be faithful witnesses – Pr. 13:17; 14:25; 25:12; 1 Thess. 1:8
