2 Sam 11:1
Introduction
Beginning next Sunday night, we are going to begin to prepare men to go to war
I want you to know that Satan is alive and well and there is a spiritual war that is always raging
What is at stake? The souls of men, women, and children
I want to challenge every man here today to consider coming to the training and going to Mardi Gras this year
There is a time for everything Eccles says…in the spring time…it’s a time for war
Read Passage 2 Sam 11:1
In the spring, at the time when kings go off to war, David sent Joab out with the king’s men and the whole Israelite army. They destroyed the Ammonites and besieged Rabbah. But David remained in Jerusalem.

Stand and march with other soldiers of Christ
Stand up under the weight of the cross...awesome feeling

Meet and train on Sunday Nights at 7:30 for 5 weeks
Scripture Memory – a verse a week
You will be required to have a daily quiet time and annotate a daily quiet time sheet
You will be required to go through a soul searching & cleansing sheet
Home base is secure and right with wife
Conclusion
It is a time when Kings go to war
David didn’t go...committed adultery and murder
We can all make excuses for not going
Do you want your walk to go deeper...do you desire to be a better husband?
Do you desire to be bold for Jesus? To be a godly leader?
Mardi Gras can be the life changing event you need...it changed mine
What about You O Man of God? Will you be a fisher of men?
