1 Kings 17: 1-7
Elijah Proclaims a Drought
1 And Elijah the Tishbite, of the inhabitants of Gilead, said to Ahab, “As the LORD God of Israel lives, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, except at my word.”
2 Then the word of the LORD came to him, saying, 3 “Get away from here and turn eastward, and hide by the Brook Cherith, which flows into the Jordan. 4 And it will be that you shall drink from the brook, and I have commanded the ravens to feed you there.”
5 So he went and did according to the word of the LORD, for he went and stayed by the Brook Cherith, which flows into the Jordan. 6 The ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning, and bread and meat in the evening; and he drank from the brook. 7 And it happened after a while that the brook dried up, because there had been no rain in the land.
An embargo is a limitation placed on a particular person, place or situation. Once the embargo is in place nothing can move the situation forward except by the mighty outstretched arm of God.
There are three types of embargo, Oral, Mind, Written embargoes. We will not have much time to go into the details of the various types. That will be for a more opportune time.
But for certain somebody’s long standing limitation is being lifted today in Jesus name!
Oral embargo – An oral embargo is a limitation on something, someone or a tangible entity through a spoken word. It is usual spoken by someone in higher spiritual authority over you, e.g God, your pastor, husband, mother, father, or any one you have opened a door of authority to e.g the devil or any of his agents (of course there must be a door open for this to happen).
Mind Embargo – The Soul/mind part of the triune human being is where choices are made. It is where willpower lies, and we all know that all the devil has to do is make you see things they way he see things. Once you are in agreement with him, the battle is won by him.
Written embargo – This is an embargo enforced by decree. Many of us have entered into embargoes by simply signing otherwise harmless pieces of paper. e.g
• Credit card applications
• Bank overdrafts
• School loans
• False marriages etc.,
God is removing you from them today in Jesus name, Amen.
Pray a prayer like this:
• By the mercy of God, I move from overdraft to excess today in Jesus name.
• Every valley afflicting my destiny, be filled up today in Jesus name.
There is always a need to pray and war against evil manipulation resulting in embargoes against the children of God. Proverbs 25:26 says it that, “Like a muddied spring or a polluted well is a righteous man who gives way to the wicked.”
So we must pray to lift off any embargoes placed on our destinies today in Jesus name.
We will deal quickly with all three in the small time frame we have. All you have to do is tune your heart to the word of God, and be attentive and obedient to the prophetic word as it comes. Someone is receiving a word that will transform him/her this morning in Jesus name.
ORAL EMBARGO.
We can never discount the power of a spoken word.
Isaiah 40:8 says, ‘the grass withers and the flowers fail, but the WORD of our God stands forever.
It is a scriptural fact that the Word of God is the most powerful force in existence.
Therefore the spoken word can make or unmake
When someone in authority speaks a word into creation, if its for good, angels pick it up, if its for bad, fallen angels pick it up. Isaiah 55:11 says God’s word never falls to the ground but goes to prosper in that which it has been sent.
Even a word spoken negatively will go and manaifest if it has the authority to manifest. That is why the bible says the curse causeless shall not come Proverbs 26:2
You will pray like this;
• Every curse of saints over my destiny be broken now in Jesus name.
• Every embargo placed on my moving forward by wicked elders be lifted in Jesus name
• Every embargo of evil load, weighing me down, be removed by the Hands of Jesus in Jesus name.
• Every family collective embargo delaying my spiritual and physical progress, be lifted in Jesus name.
• Every self imposed embargo I have placed myself in by –ve utterances, be broken now in Jesus name.
• O Lord by your mercy and grace upon me this morning, remove every brass heaven and brass floor in Jesus name.
Remember it is unwise to cross a prophet or prophetess of God, because the bible says the Lord watches over their counsel to perform it. (Isaiah 44:26)
MIND EMBARGO
As I indicated earlier, we are primarily responsible for mind embargoes, because of the gift of willpower that God has given us. However this is usually at the enemies prompting e.g Adam and Eve.
Deuteronomy 30:11-19 shows God’s offer of life or death to His children through brother Moses.
The mind is the battlefield for the fight between good and evil.
Once the mind allows the individual to make a wrong choice, it allows the enemy to capitalise and of course destinies can be shut down immediately satan gets an inroad.
e.g the two companions of Joseph in the prison (Genesis 40), got two destiny changing dreams. They accepted the prophecies of Joseph and that became their lot. The one who died could easily have rejected it, but he didn’t and was dead a couple of days later.
Paul was sufficiently disturbed about this to state in Romans 12:2 (New International Version) that, “2Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
You will pray these prayers someone:
Call on the name of Jesus 3ce and declare, “I receive the light of the gospel into my mind now”.
Every embargo placed on me through my thoughts and ideas be destroyed now by the Blood of Jesus.
Every arrow of stagnancy fired into my life through my mind, come out now in Jesus name.
By the Blood of Jesus I refuse to be conformed to the world system in Jesus name.
According to your word in Romans 12:2, Lord renew my mind with profitable and excellent ideas.
I covet and receive the Spirit of excellence now in Jesus name.
Why talk about evil embargos? Look at Proverbs 4:14-17. The wicked never relent!
Because of this, for those who are here today, these prayers are going to bring you back to favour and out of satanic witchcraft embargoes in Jesus name.
These prayers should be prayed even more aggressively by those with the specific cases mentioned below;
1. Those having repeated cases of fibroid, miscarriages, blood spotting,
2. Those seeing masquerades and snakes in their dreams
3. Those experiencing recurring sicknesses,
4. Children of kings and queens and village chieftains who are experiencing closed heaven,
5. Those who have experienced financial advancement in the past, but it all looks like the gains are being unwound,
6. Those experiencing witchcraft marks and signs on their bodies, and also those experiencing cobwebs, strange reptiles and flies, cockroaches (in strange formation) around the house.
WRITTEN EMBARGO
Written embargoes conform us a diminished control over our destinies.
An example, is telling lies on immigration forms and employment documents.
As usual the enemy is always lying in wait to pounce on our lack of faithfulness to God and give him an inch, he will naturally take a mile.
Cast your mind to some of the things you have allowed yourself in the heat of some localized pressure. Now look at the effect of the mistake on your life and destiny since.
The enemy and his agents can also manipulate those in authority to sign letters of spiritual and destiny embargoes.
In Daniel 6:1-17 we see how Daniel was unwittingly thrust towards death by the decree of his friend the king Darius, by evil and jealous peers.
How about Daniel’s friends who had to face certain death in fiery furnace because of the decree of a proud and idol worshipping Nebuchadenezaar.
• Every embargo I am in thru my signing agreements to documentation be lifted now in the name of Jesus.
• Every debilitating or demeaning obligation, I have through written embargo be cancelled now by the Blood of Jesus.
• I escape from any sudden discovered snare or embargo of disfavor in Jesus name.
• Every evil checkpoint, checkmating my breakthrough and finances, be dismantled by the hand of God.
• Every evil reinforcement against my destiny from the pits of hell, be pushed back by the whirlwind of God.
• Every evil court of appeal overturning my miracles and twisting my testimonies be disbanded by the fire of God in Jesus name.
• I curse to die, every personality of witchcraft, unrelenting in my case in Jesus name.
• Every witchcraft congregation gathering to enforce failure in my life, be scattered by the thunder of God.
Once you pray yourself out of a long standing problem and you don’t take time to study and meditate on God’s word in prayer, reinforcements come from the enemy, and they come with greater strength.
Matthew 12:43-44 (New International Version)
43"When an evil spirit comes out of a man, it goes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it. 44Then it says, ’I will return to the house I left.’ When it arrives, it finds the house unoccupied, swept clean and put in order.
