3 KEYS TO EXPERIENCE THE MIRACLE POWER OF GOD IN OUR LIVES
*********************************************************************
1. LOVE AND COMPASSION
****************************
Love and compassion will help us experience the miracle power of God in our lives. A true compassion for people in need will stir up our faith and enable us to believe God for miracles. The Lord Jesus was always moved with compassion when He encountered suffering people and he performed miracles for them. He raised the widow’s son because He was filled with compassion for her. Filled with commpassion , he healed the leper , gave sight to the blind men ,delivered the demon possessed man, fed more than four thousand with seven loaves and a few fishes . His compassion made him to teach the people many truths that would bless them. Even in our lives when we are filled with a deep love and compassion for those who suffer , we will be filled with a holy faith and boldness to believe God to perform miracles to deliver His people.

GALATIANS 5:6
For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love.
MATTHEW 14:14
When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them and healed their sick.
MARK 6:34
When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd. So he began teaching them many things.
LUKE 7:11-15
Soon afterward, Jesus went to a town called Nain, and his disciples and a large crowd went along with him.
As he approached the town gate, a dead person was being carried out—the only son of his mother, and she was a widow. And a large crowd from the town was with her.
When the Lord saw her, his heart went out to her and he said, "Don’t cry."
Then he went up and touched the coffin, and those carrying it stood still. He said, "Young man, I say to you, get up!"
The dead man sat up and began to talk, and Jesus gave him back to his mother.
MARK 1:39-42
So he traveled throughout Galilee, preaching in their synagogues and driving out demons.
A man with leprosy came to him and begged him on his knees, "If you are willing, you can make me clean."
Filled with compassion, Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. "I am willing," he said. "Be clean!"
Immediately the leprosy left him and he was cured.
MATTHEW 20:29-34
As Jesus and his disciples were leaving Jericho, a large crowd followed him.
Two blind men were sitting by the roadside, and when they heard that Jesus was going by, they shouted, "Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!"
The crowd rebuked them and told them to be quiet, but they shouted all the louder, "Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!"
Jesus stopped and called them. "What do you want me to do for you?" he asked.
"Lord," they answered, "we want our sight."
Jesus had compassion on them and touched their eyes. Immediately they received their sight and followed him.
MATTHEW 9:35-38
Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness.
When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.
Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.
Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field."
MATTHEW 15:30-38
Great crowds came to him, bringing the lame, the blind, the crippled, the mute and many others, and laid them at his feet; and he healed them.
The people were amazed when they saw the mute speaking, the crippled made well, the lame walking and the blind seeing. And they praised the God of Israel.
Jesus called his disciples to him and said, "I have compassion for these people; they have already been with me three days and have nothing to eat. I do not want to send them away hungry, or they may collapse on the way."
His disciples answered, "Where could we get enough bread in this remote place to feed such a crowd?"
"How many loaves do you have?" Jesus asked."Seven," they replied, "and a few small fish."
He told the crowd to sit down on the ground.
Then he took the seven loaves and the fish, and when he had given thanks, he broke them and gave them to the disciples, and they in turn to the people.
They all ate and were satisfied. Afterward the disciples picked up seven basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over.
The number of those who ate was four thousand, besides women and children.
MARK 5:18-20
As Jesus was getting into the boat, the man who had been demon-possessed begged to go with him.
Jesus did not let him, but said, "Go home to your family and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you."
So the man went away and began to tell in the Decapolis how much Jesus had done for him. And all the people were amazed.
2. DESPERATION AND DETERMINATION
**************************************
Desperation and Determination will help us experience the miracle power of God in our lives. Jacob wrestled with God and was determined that he will let Him go unless God blessed him. He was facing a desperate situation which was a matter of life or death. His brother Esau whom he had cheated of his birthright and his father’s blessing was now coming towards him in great anger. In this desperate and dangerous situation , Jacob received the blessing of God because of his determination. Hannah was desperate and determined as she poured out her soul to the Lord to grant her a son. Her prayer received an answer and she was blessed with the great prophet Samuel as her child. The friends of the paralytic man were determined to get him to Jesus and in desperation they tore the roof and lowered him before Jesus and received their miracle. Blind Bartimaeus was determined to get his healing from Jesus and was not discouraged by the lack of support from others. The Syro Phoenician woman was determined to receive deliverance for her daughter and did not give up until Jesus answered her cry. Even in our lives we must become desperate and determined in order to experience the miracle power of God in our lives. We should not give up our faith and prayer until we recieve the answer.

GENESIS 32:24-28
So Jacob was left alone, and a man wrestled with him till daybreak.
When the man saw that he could not overpower him, he touched the socket of Jacob’s hip so that his hip was wrenched as he wrestled with the man.
Then the man said, "Let me go, for it is daybreak." But Jacob replied, "I will not let you go unless you bless me."
The man asked him, "What is your name?" "Jacob," he answered.
Then the man said, "Your name will no longer be Jacob, but Israel, because you have struggled with God and with men and have overcome."
1 SAMUEL 1:10-18
In bitterness of soul Hannah wept much and prayed to the LORD.
And she made a vow, saying, "O LORD Almighty, if you will only look upon your servant’s misery and remember me, and not forget your servant but give her a son, then I will give him to the LORD for all the days of his life, and no razor will ever be used on his head."
As she kept on praying to the LORD, Eli observed her mouth.
Hannah was praying in her heart, and her lips were moving but her voice was not heard. Eli thought she was drunk
and said to her, "How long will you keep on getting drunk? Get rid of your wine."
"Not so, my lord," Hannah replied, "I am a woman who is deeply troubled. I have not been drinking wine or beer; I was pouring out my soul to the LORD.
Do not take your servant for a wicked woman; I have been praying here out of my great anguish and grief."
Eli answered, "Go in peace, and may the God of Israel grant you what you have asked of him."
She said, "May your servant find favor in your eyes." Then she went her way and ate something, and her face was no longer downcast.
LUKE 18:1
Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.
LUKE 5:18-25
Some men came carrying a paralytic on a mat and tried to take him into the house to lay him before Jesus.
When they could not find a way to do this because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and lowered him on his mat through the tiles into the middle of the crowd, right in front of Jesus.
When Jesus saw their faith, he said, "Friend, your sins are forgiven."
The Pharisees and the teachers of the law began thinking to themselves, "Who is this fellow who speaks blasphemy? Who can forgive sins but God alone?"
Jesus knew what they were thinking and asked, "Why are you thinking these things in your hearts?
Which is easier: to say, ’Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ’Get up and walk’?
But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins...." He said to the paralyzed man, "I tell you, get up, take your mat and go home."
Immediately he stood up in front of them, took what he had been lying on and went home praising God.
MARK 10:46-52
Then they came to Jericho. As Jesus and his disciples, together with a large crowd, were leaving the city, a blind man, Bartimaeus (that is, the Son of Timaeus), was sitting by the roadside begging.
When he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to shout, "Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!"
Many rebuked him and told him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more, "Son of David, have mercy on me!"
Jesus stopped and said, "Call him." So they called to the blind man, "Cheer up! On your feet! He’s calling you."
Throwing his cloak aside, he jumped to his feet and came to Jesus.
"What do you want me to do for you?" Jesus asked him. The blind man said, "Rabbi, I want to see."
"Go," said Jesus, "your faith has healed you." Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road.
MARK 7:25-30
In fact, as soon as she heard about him, a woman whose little daughter was possessed by an evil spirit came and fell at his feet.
The woman was a Greek, born in Syrian Phoenicia. She begged Jesus to drive the demon out of her daughter.
"First let the children eat all they want," he told her, "for it is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to their dogs."
"Yes, Lord," she replied, "but even the dogs under the table eat the children’s crumbs."
Then he told her, "For such a reply, you may go; the demon has left your daughter."
She went home and found her child lying on the bed, and the demon gone.
3.TOTAL FAITH AND RELIANCE ON GOD
********************************************
Total faith and reliance on God will help us experience the miracle power of God in our lives. When we are willing to put our entire trust and confidence in God , the Lord will honour our faith and perform miracles for God. The woman who suffered with bleeding for 12 years reached a point of total faith in God. She lost all hope in human remedy as she had tried all human help possible . She was now convinced that her only hope for healing was in Jesus alone. With this total faith in Christ she touched His clothes and was healed. The Lord waits for us to put our entire trust in Him alone . The sooner we realise that vain is the help of man , the quicker we will reach out to God as the our only hope and trust and put our entire faith in Him . This total faith and reliance on God will release His miracle power in our lives.

MARK 5:24-29
So Jesus went with him. A large crowd followed and pressed around him.
And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years.
She had suffered a great deal under the care of many doctors and had spent all she had, yet instead of getting better she grew worse.
When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak,
because she thought, "If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed."
Immediately her bleeding stopped and she felt in her body that she was freed from her suffering.

the LORD delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love.

O house of Aaron, trust in the LORD— he is their help and shield.
You who fear him, trust in the LORD—he is their help and shield.
The LORD remembers us and will bless us: He will bless the house of Israel, he will bless the house of Aaron,
he will bless those who fear the LORD—small and great alike.
May the LORD make you increase, both you and your children.
PSALM 60:11-12

Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge. Selah
