POWER OF A CHOICE
Deu 30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
Deu 30:20 That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD swore unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.
Rom 5:19 For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
Our choices are more powerful than we think, as you can see. Adam and Eve made one choice that made terrible difference for all mankind.
Life is a gift from God , and it is maintained and nourished by our choices.
Often many of our problems and worries in life are the result of choices we have made. We take life for granted and forget that our quality of life is made by our good or bad choices.
We don’t realize just how many choices that we make each day, each moment.
Each morning when you wake up you choose whether to
Get up and be on time or to be late
To take a shower and brush your teeth
To dress yourself as the man n black or the bright blue shirt that says the sky is the limit.
Whether to eat the boiled egg or the fat filled glazed donut.
We could go on and on, but all of these things are choices that you and I make daily that say who you are and shape and mold our character. There is power in a choice!!!! The power to be known as the guy who is always on time, or always late. The guy or gal who is known to have bad hygiene, or to be known as MR. Prep, Mr. skinny or Mr. FFFFFAAATTT. You have the POWER!!!!!!!
Every thing you do is a choice, and every choice is a avenue to who you will become and what you will do , and ultimately wearer you will spend eternity.
Anyone who has raised children knows that childrearing is all about choices. You see children do not understand the power of a choice, and they do not realize how many there are to make. It is our job as parents to teach them values and consequences that will help them make good choices in their adult lives.
CEO of a company has the power he has berceuse others have recognized that he has the ability and the discipline to make good choices. There is power in a choice. The bum on the street generally is a bum because he has decided to stop trying and just get what he can from others good choices. Who are you today? A victor or a victim?
Life is like the batting cages .The balls keep coming and coming and sometimes we hit home runs and sometimes we hit some fouls and some times we just strike out, but no matter how miserably we fail the balls will continue to come and we either choose to swing on or to step aside and just watch the balls fly by, but regardless of what you choose the balls continue to come until there are no more. Life is in the same. It is made of choices that come our way, and as they come we must choose good or evil, and some times we make good choices and sometimes we make bad, but regardless of how bad we fail and how tired we get the choices still come and we choose either to swing on or to simply step aside and watch them go by, but even in that we have still made a choice to win or loose to succeed or fail to swing on or to just quit.
At one time or another as life progresses we stop and ask ourselves how did we get were we are, whether for the good or the bad. It is our choices, our small choices and big choices that like a boat on the open sea, we find ourselves farther away or closer to our destination than what we ever knew
Bad things happen
Beck 9:11 I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favor to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.
Good and bad things happen to every one, but you choose whether to
allow them to bury you or to simple be a stepping stone to heaven.

How liberating is it to know that I have a choice.
People can take my possessions, my health, can take my home , but not my choice
Science has proven that no matter what mood you are in, if one will force himself to smile, by simply expressing the emotion of happiness one will soon find himself happy.
Mat 6:20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
Mat 6:21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
Not a victim but a victor
(Joh 10:18) No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.
The world cannot take what we give them freely. Thus we should not live our lives as those who seek passionately this life but let us live in search of eternal substance.
Have you ever heard the expression “ He who has little, loses little”.
The world can take my health, my wealth, and my possessions, but no one can take my choice to choose peace, joy, love etc…. Take all the scientist, the politicians, the great minds and philosophers and none can dilute this power granted by God, it is my choice.

Can’t & Tried means Won’t
Drs. Minirth & Meyer have written a book about overcoming depression entitled "Happiness Is a Choice." They wrote, "As psychiatrists, we cringe whenever Christian patients use the words, `I can’t’ & `I’ve tried.’ Any good psychiatrist knows that `I can’t’ & `I’ve tried’ are merely lame excuses. We insist that our patients stop saying `can’t’ & say `won’t’ instead." "They need to see what they are really doing, so we make them face up to it by saying, `I just won’t get along with my wife.’ `My husband & I won’t communicate.’ `I won’t discipline my kids the way I should.’ `I won’t find time to pray.’ `I won’t stop gossiping.’ When they change their "cant’s" to "won’t" they stop avoiding the truth & start facing reality."

The worst thing that could ever happen to hell and the best that could happen to man kind is that they realize they have a choice.
REVIVAL IS A CHOICE!!!!!!!!
YEA its prayer, yea its fasting , yea its amazing, yea its catchy and will soon spread like wild fire but first before any of that Revival is simply a CHOICE. So what does it come down to? More waling , more crying , more discussion, and reminiscing, or study or this or that , no it comes down to you and your availability and venerability
to say yes Lord , I will go.

You know today what you struggle with. I don’t need to tell you, and you know what you need to do today to solve that problem. The longer you put it off the longer you will walk and talk and feel the way you do . You can talk about the way it used to be and blame others but the truth is you got the power, you own the choice to say YES, LORD ! There is reviving power in a choice.
