WHERE IN THE WORLD IS THE LIGHT
Matt 5:14-16
14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid.
15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

John 1:1-9
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.
7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.
8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

*** Every diamond does not shine alike…as a matter of fact there probably in not two that are alike.
*** Some cannot shine because they have never been cut.
*** The brilliancy of the light depends largely upon the character of its facets.
*** THREE THINGS ARE NEEDED TO MAKE US SHINE ***
(1) We MUST be diamonds…Saved ones…precious in His sight.
(2) We MUST be cut…fashioned after His own will.
(3) We MUST abide in the light…In His light we shall see the light and BE lights in the world…
I Jn. 1: 7
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

Love people – include people –Outreach -- Do things you love to do, just include people in it…use EVERYTHING as an outreach method.

*** Some people see it as Gods WAY…others see it as His LAW…these are going to have a hard path…

LETTING YOUR LIGHT SHINE
Dr. Paul Brand was speaking to a medical college in India on "Let your light so shine before men that they may behold your good works and glorify your Father." In front of the lectern was an oil lamp, with its cotton wick burning from the shallow dish of oil. As he preached, the lamp ran out of oil, the wick burned dry, and the smoke made him cough. He immediately used the opportunity.
"Some of us here are like this wick," he said. "We’re trying to shine for the glory of God, but we stink. That’s what happens when we use ourselves as the fuel of our witness rather than the Holy Spirit.
"Wicks can last indefinitely, burning brightly and without irritating smoke, if the fuel, the Holy Spirit, is in constant supply."
