Summary: God wants to manifest Himself beyond your situation today because he wants you to awake to your destiny!

I thank God today is Mother’s Day. This is a day in this country where we honor Mother’s. God gave women the greatest gift is to become a mother. You may not be a mother in the physical sense, but you are a mother because you have the potential and carry the anointing of a MOTHER.

Eve was pronounced as the mother of all living. She was the one chosen to birth through her the lineage of the Messiah who would come to deliver. When her first child was born, she called him “Cain” because she birth a man into the earth. She didn’t see that one day he would be slaughtered by his brother, she saw that God had given her the greatest opportunity. She saw DESTINY! She remembered Genesis 3 where her seed would crush or destroy Satan.

Today women, in your MOTHERHOOD (that’s what I what to refer to it), we have children that everyone wants to give up on; and also we see visions and churches that many have forgotten – because of the nurturing nature that God has given us, we see the DESTINY that God wants to give us.

With all this in mind, we should all be rejoicing doing this Mother’s Day. It should be a joyful day for all mothers. But I am here to tell you today that all mothers aren’t rejoicing; all women can’t rejoice. Some are homeless, jobless, feeling of loneliness, in abusive situations, children are wayward or away from God, marriage getting ready to break up; anorexia, bulimia, nervous breakdowns, in prison in mind and physically, and friends or family has turned against you. But mother’s today, I want you to see DESTINY and not the situation.

Ladies, let me tell you something, in MOTHERHOOD there is precious pain, and precious promises to hold on to your destiny. If you can’t understand this vital principle then you will miss the greatest opportunity to see DESTINY in any situation.

Let’s turn to a familiar story of two sisters who I believe exemplified the heart of Motherhood.

John 11:1-4; 20-23

1 Now a certain man was sick, named Lazarus, of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha. 2 (It was that Mary which anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.) 3 Therefore his sisters sent unto him, saying, Lord, behold, he whom thou lovest is sick. 4 When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby.

20 Then Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went and met him: but Mary sat still in the house. 21 Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died. 22 But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee. 23 Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again.

How can God say things that don’t appear to be true? Mother, you can say this: how can God say that my children will be great and mighty in the earth realm and delivered even in their current state.

In the verse we just read, the sickness of Lazarus was for the Glory of God.

Glory in Greek is doxa which means praise, magnify or celebrate.

Mothers, today – what your children or your situation is today is for the Glory of God.

God wasn’t upset at Lazarus, but he had a divine purpose. God isn’t upset at your today ladies, because you haven’t made the right choices in motherhood or you are a bad mother.

Sometimes strange things happen to good mother’s children. You may have done everything right and still your child is in trouble and your marriage ends in divorce.

The one who you think should be chastened is not.

There is pain and pleasure in serving God and giving birth to destiny. You have to be strong to serve God. That is why God has made mothers with great strength. Today the enemy has tricked many men today to run away from home – but usually the mother stays.

There is going to come a harvest, but sometimes we live through pain. Let’s call it precious pain.

In childbirth, there is precious pain. But once the baby is birthed, then the pain is forgotten so quickly.

Women, you may have to cry while you have to tarry to see DESTINY – don’t hold on to the pain though – understand the pain to what it is – bring you to the place you need to be.

Being a child of God doesn’t excuse you from trials.

Weeping endures for a night, but joy comes in the morning.

Sometimes it takes turning over all night to get to morning. But the sun will rise.

If you ever go to the rough waters, take consolation that you have been selected for the storm.

You are the one who has to see DESTINY because God has given you the strength to go through the trial. Your situations aren’t catching God by surprise.

He needs someone to pay the pain to get to the promise. That’s why Mary was willing to carry Jesus and almost lose her marriage to Joseph. She endured the pain to get to the promise.

Whenever you want to do something for God, you need to declare that you are going to make it.

Every pain you go through is precious.

The main objective of Jesus wasn’t to show the miracle of Lazarus being raised, but show the glory!

Ask Lazarus, Did you enjoy dying? Ask many great women – did they enjoy going through what they went through to get the glory of God?

MOTHERS, HOW MUCH PAIN DID YOU HAVE TO ENDURE TO GET TO THIS DAY?

God is yearning for a place to reveal His glory. In order for Lazarus to be pulled out of the grave, he had to die.

Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.

Today mothers, many of us are going to have to die. We are going to have to die to the fact that we can’t get our husbands saved; we can’t get our children straight; we can’t do it all – we need God.

God wants to manifest Himself beyond what Mary or Martha has ever seen; he wants to manifest Himself beyond your situation today because he wants you to remember to see DESTINY.

Before Glory is revealed; pain will be felt.

Tomorrow you will know that God is never too late; but today, you will wonder where is God?

Jesus gave us a promise When you think God has forsaken you, he is nearer than ever. Ask the three Hebrew boys in the fire.

In the book of Revelation, John saw Jesus with burned feet. How did Jesus get burned feet? With you in the fire. He suffers with you – if you do it to the least of these, you do it unto me.

Precious Pain is because Jesus is with us taking the pain. He feels our burns because He is with us.

The unexplainable occurred – Lazarus died. What do you tell people who stand with such faith for life and someone dies anyway? What do you tell a mom who has served God all her life that her children are on drugs? Her home is in a mess? Her job is gone?

Never forget when you are down to nothing God is up to something. No situation is beyond the grasp of God. While you panic, God is at peace.

The resurrection of Lazarus set up everything Jesus would do – show forth God’s glory.

Start calling your pain precious to see the glor0y! Ladies, start seeing DESTINY at work today not the problem but the precious promises!

Tell God I am hurting; I am in pain, but I trust you.

IN MOTHERHOOD, you have to go to a funeral. You have to let go of EGO, SELF PRESERATION, SELF.

Very serious, some of you mothers may have someone on life support today and you may have to give the situation to God and let them go.

Mary and Martha would have preserved Lazarus for themselves and missed the real reason Lazarus died to see DESTINY at work.

Lazarus knew everyday after his resurrection was God’s.

Today ladies, you are about to have a resurrection. You are going to start seeing the real deal and that is DESTINY is at work in you!

If you can die – He can live.

Pull your pain close, but bury the old man and greater glory will come from precious pain.

Pain produces compassion which you can feel the pain of others.

Behind the pain is power. Lazarus came forth.

John 11:38-44

38 Jesus therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the grave. It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it. 39 Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days. 40 Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God? 41 Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. 42 And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me. 43 And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. 44 And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.

But don’t let the pain distract you from seeing your destiny and fulfilling purpose.

God has a precious promise for you ladies!

Let’s think about Moses’ mother:

a. Moses’ mother defied the king’s command to kill all Hebrew

sons born in Egypt.

b. She hid him away for three months, and then took him to the

river as a hiding place.

c. There the Pharoah’s daughter found him and took him as her

own son. (God will raise up others to mother your children)

d. Then God directed in such a way that He enabled his mother

to become his nurse.

e. All because of a mother’s desire to protect her child.

Mothers, remember – where there is precious pain, there is precious promises!

Luke 13:12 – And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman thou art loosed from thine infirmity.

Infirmity – in Greek is Astheneia which means feebleness of health or sickness

But let’s consider the woman:

1. No one saw her – discernment

2. No one called her – challenge

3. No one touched her – affirmation

But nothing could keep her from hearing Jesus. She came with this infirmity and Jesus saw her, called her and touched her. She had been a long time laboring with this spirit of infirmity, but now she was release from it.

Today, I want Jesus to touch many of you from the infirmities that have stopped you from seeing DESTINY at work. Touching God today may be hard for the woman who has declared herself unclean.

If the woman with the infirmity didn’t come forth when she was called , she would have died inwardly with DESTINY in her.

Break the covenant with silence today and believe God for a change!

I want to say it like Bishop T.D. Jakes with a twist – MOTHERHOOD you are loosed today to see DESTINY at work.

Let’s go stand at the graveside together (call all the women up front). Pray with the women.

Father, let these women know that they are Abraham’s daughters and have worth. They need to be loosed and set free. There is another woman who has a key to their destiny. This is the announcement to your soul today, Come forth, daughter of the morning. Don’t oversleep any longer: Awake and See Destiny!
