Plan Ahead!
Introduction
Last week one of our main points were…
Fulfillment of your destiny depends on your willingness to do God’s will, His way, and in His time.
a. Life is to complicated for me to make sense of it
School, family, money, relationships, career, ministry
We need to be serious about asking Him to make sense of it all for us.
b. Life is to uncertain for me to predict
Proverbs 27:1 “Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day will bring forth.”
Only God knows what tomorrow will bring. Why not get serious about asking Him for direction in your future?
c. Life is to short to waist it on anything less
Two weeks ago Ashley Burns, a 14 yr old girl in MA, died unexpectantly after a cheerleading stunt.
What if she were in our student ministry?
Would she have received a clear presentation of the gospel? Would she have had friends? Would she have had the opportunity to mature and spread her wings in ministry? Would she have known our purpose and process as a student ministry?
This is our purpose…
Reach out in loving fellowship to every student in the greater St. Joseph are…Provide students with an opportunity to Respond to God’s love and glory through heartfelt worship…Refashion this generation to a lifestyle of moral Godly living through Biblical discipleship…Reestablish the ministry effectiveness and destiny of students within the local church…Retake our homes and communities with the message of Jesus Christ.
