Don’t abort your blessing
Heb 6:13-15 (KJV)
13 For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself,
14 Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee.
Heb 6:12-15 And so after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise
Gal 3:29 And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.
In this epistle Paul writes to the converted Jewish Christians. Reminding them that Jesus….. came to do away with the law… and Judaism. Paul also directs their attention to one very important fact. That through Jesus we (they) have inherited the promise GOD swore to Abraham. The scripture states that the promise GOD made to Abraham was made specifically to his seed and not his seeds. It is important that we get and understanding of this covenant. The covenant GOD made not to be fulfilled for 42 generations. These are the generations from Abraham to Jesus. Abraham’s seeds would be his offspring his children. However the promise of GOD for Abraham seed to inherit the earth was to Christ....Guess what saints because Jesus is Abraham’s seed,…because…..the covenant is for Jesus to inherit the Earth because of that fact we the brothers and sisters of Christ inherit the promise………..We are co-inheritors with Christ….
GOD has promised to bless us and multiply us if only we are faithful and put our trust in him………We are a blessed people set apart a peculiar people…Surely GOD has heard the cry of his people in this wretched land………..
All who belong to Christ inherit this promise. GOD has replaced that which was lost through the garden of Eden….and that was the opportunity to obtain eternal life…..GOD has impregnated someone….. with a dream and it seems…… like you just can’t see….. how it’s going to come to pass. Someone can see their future and the gifts GOD has for them……. But It seems like you always fall short. We serve a GOD….. who knows no limits….. and has no failures. Don’t worry about the fact…. that sometimes it seems like you can’t find your way through…….because the GOD we serve is a way maker…… and he’ll make a way out of no way. As a matter of fact,….. he’ll use that same one who is trying to hold you back and keep you down…. To deliver you out of your situation and into your blessing..…
He loves to make our enemy, our footstool. He has a habit of taking what was meant for evil and turning it into a blessing. That’s the kind of GOD we serve. We serve a miracle working GOD one who just loves to show up and show out. We’re pregnant with expectation….expectation of blessing for friendship….expectation of a blessing for the membership….expectation of a blessing for the entire pulpit. Expectation, of a blessing for the Pastor.
We have to expect something from GOD, to exhibit faith….. and when we exhibit faith we cause GOD to move.
When Joshua marched around the walls of Jericho he expected something from GOD. He expected GOD to go before him in battle and deliver Jericho…….because he waited without giving up and endured he was able to inherit his promise. When we ask GOD for something we must come before the throne boldly. Stand on the promises and word of GOD as Joshua commanded the sun to stand still in Gibeon and the moon to stay over valley of Ajalon. Until Israel had avenged itself…..GOD hears those who come before him righteously.
1 Cor 2:9 (KJV)
9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
This tells me GOD has blessings for us that we cannot phantom in our small minds…If COULD only BUT tap into our GOD given destiny.
GOD desires to do the unbelievable and impossible. We don’t give him a chance to… The problem is we have lowered our standards and our prayers have become repetitious and complacent.
In order to see the glory of GOD…..WE must pray for those things which serve to glorify GOD………..
When was the last time someone prayed for the mantle of Elijah or Elisha Or a preacher prayed for the anointing of Peter… or the conviction of Paul…..In order that the world might see the power of GOD……We would rather say those are just good bible stories
When was the last time we prayed for the deliverance of a lost people….. like Moses did. When was the last time, we layed prostate on our faces and fasted…… for those lost in sin and laid there until…………. GOD answered?
GOD is a GOD of abundance he wants you to have more than one car……. so you can give one away to somebody in need…… and tell someone it’s is a blessing from GOD. GOD wants us to have a surplus of money………. so we can help someone in need and tell them…… it is only because of his grace and mercy….Did not he feed the Israelites mana from heaven…..Did he not pay Jesus taxes from the mouth of a fish…Saints tell me if these be just good listening stories….. then we are wasting. Our time here in this building …….but if this be the true GOSPEL of the living GOD then all things are possible to them that believe.
Surely…. We have to expect something from GOD we have to be in waiting. Friendship is in waiting like a new mother …. GOD has impregnated us with our blessings, Right now it’s in its conception stage. You mothers know what I’m talking about…….you begin to feel life…….The you begin to feel it move……. We can feel your dream starting to form. Like a baby…. nobody knows you’re carrying but it’s. Nobody can sense it’s presence but you, You can feel it growing….you can feel it move ….then it starts to kick….you got to nourish it feed it right…feed it the word feed it hope…… just like a new mother we must experience the growing pains….there is always pain before we deliver……they say a pregnant woman is in waiting, she is expecting.
I don’t know about you but I’m pregnant with expectation….Let the windows of heaven open up and pour out a blessing that we won’t have room to receive…….. Contrary to popular belief we are not the gods of our life…..once we come into the belief of Christ we are saying we have turned it over to you Lord.
PSALMS 115:14 (KJV)
14 THE LORD shall increase you more and more, you and your children.
We want simple things like a good job or a good home or a good wife. Didn’t the scripture say I once was young and now I’m old but I have never seen the righteous forsaken or his seed begging bread. GOD knows what we need….. if we are faithful and just he has heavenly rewards for us
We are not a broken down people….. nor a trodden and oppressed……. people. Neither or we helpless and lost…….GOD has not forgotten us……GOD has given us everything….. we need to succeed. Our choices sometimes….. don’t line up, with the will of GOD…….. for our life so we miss out on our blessing.. We have made the mistake of leaving him……. We have been conditioned to deal with and see only……. that which we can understand with our simple minds. I praise GOD that he does not move in the realm of what we understand…… GOD puts his super with our natural to produce the supernatural… He does not see…… the limitations and hinderances……that we see.
Psalms 115:12
12. The LORD hath been mindful of us: he will bless us; he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron.
Somewhere along the line… we forgot whose we are…as well as who we are. We’re blessed coming in and blessed going out. We’re children of the ……..KING… I know sometimes it doesn’t look like we can see our way…… through. GOD wants to bless SOMEBODY TODAY HE IS LOOKING TO AND FRO…LOOKING FOR THOSE FEW FAITHFUL…..
I’M CLOSING NOW BUT IF I NEVER SEE YOU AGAIN
SURELY……Somebody SAY SURELY SOMEBODY is pregnant among us, pregnant… with expectation.
Somebody is getting ready to birth a stronger, anointing…. .and walk in a greater calling…… Somebody is getting ready to birth a financial blessing… surely somebody surelySomebody is getting ready… to birth a new ministry.
Somebody is getting ready to birth a new business.
Surely somebody is getting ready to tap into the secrets things of GOD
Surely. Your breakthrough is just around the corner…..
Surely your healing is on it’s way……your deliverance is close Jesus came that we might have life and have it more abundantly. My bible tells me 33 years he walked in the flesh healing the sick and giving sight to the blind.
The same ones who shouted hosanna, hosanna shouted crucify him…..My soul cries out when I think of how they beat him for me yall you got to make it personal….i can see him marching to calvery….praying all the time thinking his life would save mine…THE WORD SAYS THEY NAILED HIM TO THE CROSS..I CAN FEEL THE FIRST NAIL THROUGH HIS HAND STILL NEVER MUMBLING A WORD I CAN FEEL THE SECOND NAIL THROUGH HIS HAND AND MY BODY BEGINS TO QUIVER BUT …..ONE FOOT ONTOP ANOTHER NAILING MY BLESSED SAVIOUR THROUGH HIS FEET….When they pierced his side somebody said surely..surely this must be the son of the living GOD……LATE ONE FRIDAY EVENING HE GAVE UP THE GHOST…..THEY BURIED HIM IN A BORRED TOMB AND YOU KNOW WHEN YOU BORROW SOMETHING YOU HAVE TO GIVE IT BACK…….EARLY …EARLY SUNDAY MORNING HE GOT UP …HE GOT UP WITH ALL POWER IN HIS HAND…..
