“A Man and Women Truly Being Blessed by the Spirit of God”

Isaiah 61:1
We thank God for Pastor Dillon and Sis Dillon on this special day. They have made it through for 11 years of dedicated services. And for a man and a women to make it through for 11 years preaching and teaching the word. And supporting her husband through these years they have to be anointed by God.
Can I get a witness? Eleven is a special number. God is saying this is going to be a special year.
Number Eleven possesses the qualities of intuition, patience, honesty, sensitivity, and spirituality. Others turn to people who are ’Eleven’ for teaching and inspiration, and are usually uplifted by there experience. And Pastor Dillon some of the things you been threw this pass year has uplifted some folks. Your experience that you went threw was not for you but it was for some body to see what the Lord can do. And I want to tell you today if know body else is uplifted I am uplifted by you brother.
People with this number could be both idealistic and visionary. And God wants you two to know the visions and the Ideals that he has given you for the past eleven years are going to come to pass.
Eleven bring the gift of spiritual inheritance, is gifted as the "Light-Bearer". It is the number of the Light within all. Strengthened by the love of Peace, gentleness, sensitivity and insight. And in Matthew 5:14 Jesus said that ye are the light of the world, a city that is set on a hill cannot be hid. What he is saying to you is that your gift and your talents and most of all your anointing will not be hid. But it will be seen through the world. And the word also in verse 16 of that same chapter say "Let your light so shine before man, that they may see your good works and glorify your father which is in heaven."
As we look at this scripture we can see to be able to preach good tiding onto the meek and to be sent to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives you have to be anointed. To lead folks that sometimes don’t want to be lead you have to be anointed. To deal with the things that pastors and there wife have to go through they have to be anointed by God. You have to have the power of the Lord on your side to make through this thing for 11 years. God said you might have had some ruff years but this eleventh year he is going to make the crocket places straight, and he is going to make your rough places smooth.
And for a man and women to be truly lead by spirit of God They have to be anointed by God. Because a counselor can’t get a pastor through some of the hell that he’s got to go through. It’s got to be the anointing. To fight demons and deal with persecution from your own members there got to be an anointing. To stand in the gap and pray for folks that want give you the time of day you have to be anointed.
For a Pastor and his wife to be able to preach and teach and doing the work of God.
I tell you that are got to be an anointing. I come to be a witness. You can’t do this with out having the hand of the Lord upon you. Even if you are going through rough times, you have to know that God will see you through. When the spirit of the Lord is upon you, you can be down but you know that Lord will pick you up. When, the spirit of the Lord is upon you. When the tithes and offering is low. You will say I know the Lord will make a way some how. Do you know what I am talking about? I can’t do anything without the spirit of the Lord being upon me. I can’t fight the enemy without having the spirit of the Lord being upon me. I can’t go through trials and tribulations with out the spirit of the Lord being upon me. I can’t deal with some of the folks I got to deal with on my job, in my community and even in my church without the Spirit of the Lord upon me. And I sure can’t preach with out the Spirit of the Lord upon me. Because the bible says how can you hear without a preacher and how can he preach unless he has been sent. And God is not going to send somebody to preach to the meek without having the spirit of the Lord upon them.
Now let’s look at this scripture here. The Spirit of the Lord is upon me because he has anointed me to preach good tiding unto the meek.
The word, anointing. In the Hebrew language it means "maw-shakh’" a primitive root; to rub with oil, to anoint; by implication to consecrate; also to anoint; to commission; to be consecrated and qualified or service. And I know these two had to be qualified and set a side by God. When some body is anointed there is a difference in there life. They have been set a side for a service to do for the Lord.
Oil represents a covering. And if you know anything about oil, water and oils does not mix. Don’t try to mix your mess with my anointing it want work; don’t try to mix my anointing with your dirt. I don’t care how much water you have, if you put a drop of oil in it. The oil is always going to float to the top.
And I am talking to those that are anointed; I don’t care how the enemy comes in like a flood when you are anointed you will always float to the top. I don’t care if the storm clouds arise, if the rain comes remember that you are anointed, and when you are anointed you shall be on top. The Lord said in Deut 28:7 "The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways. " Why because I am anointed and it takes the anointing to destroy the yoke. And if you need to get a yoke broken you need to get anointed. When something seems to get you bond and to get you down you got to get the anointing from God.
We find that in Luke 4:18-19 Jesus gets a hold to this scripture and when ever Jesus gets a hold of scripture
That means that scripture has got to be fulfilled. He said he sent me to preach to the broken hearted. And can’t anything fix a broken heart but God. The doctors can put a cast on a broken arm but they can’t do anything with a broken heart. A new car might let you get to LA a little faster and in style but it can’t do anything for a broken heart. Lipo suction may make you feel better about yourself but it won’t fix a broken heart. I don’t care who you replace Tyrone with. That next man can’t fix your broken heart. But it is going to take that word of God. It going to take some one anointed it going to take some body that has been sent. It is going to take somebody who has been sent to preach to the broken hearted. And Jesus adds to preach deliverance to the captives. And recover sight to the blind. If you captive by sin the word will deliver you, if you captives and you need the anointing to take your captivity captives you got to hear the preached word.
In a 12 Step Program Step ELEVEN is a step of meditation and courage. "Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God as we understood Him, praying only for knowledge of His will for us and the power to carry that out.” After working the program for months, perhaps years, many of us begin to experience an energy, a support in difficult times, a something indefinable that is nevertheless there for us when we are feeling fear or anxiety. This is Higher Power. It can’t be described, it can’t be understood, but it is available, anytime we need it. It’s like turning on a light or tuning into a favorite radio station. The energy or power is always there even though we can’t see it, and we don’t understand how it works. But if we push the button or turn the switch, it’s there to comfort us and guide us.
Courage permeates this step. It takes courage to believe. It takes courage to let go of self will. And it takes courage to pray, "Thy Will be done." It is so much easier to pray, "My will be done." Step eleven requires the courage to trust this power and to let go of predetermined, limited, human results. What happens is miraculous. Things work out in ways the limited human mind could never preplan. The Bible says all things work together for the good of those who loves the Lord.
