1 Sam 9:26 Samuel called Saul to the top of the house:, saying Up, that I may send thee away (And Saul Arose).
How few are those who are coming to that Higher place in God that equips us and empowers us for service to our fellow men.
Bid The Servant to Pass on Before us: There are many who will never rise above the status of a servant (Yes
we should all be servants, but there is a promotion from being the Lords servants to being his Sons
(The servant knoweth not what his Lord doeth, but a Son not only knows what his Father = Lord is doing but he is also a partner in the business
When You decide: You want to walk in your sonship, You will have to separate yourself from those who are determined to stay on a lower level.
Ps 18:1 Through desire a man having seperated himself, seeketh and intermeddleth with all wisdom.
Ps 32:6 Surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.
There are some things: that only come to us in Private, There is a glory that you can only enter into in your private life (Much like the High Priest and the most Holy Place).
And he Passed on: Not every believer wants the Glory of God, As soon as you make it clear that you are hungry for the fuller things of God, You will find certain people that just phase out of your life (How can 2 walk together except they be agreed.)?
You say, I need them: The truth is what we need and who we need is God, and when we choose God and his glory he will connect with those who are of like passion.
Then your fellowship will not be limited to natural carnal things.
Or you say, They Need Me: I help them to stay strong, I encourage them, and help them to be strong ( What they really need is for you and I to get on with God and get in the glory and show them what it looks like, and hopefully God will give them a Hunger for the glory themselves.
And He Passed On: If they don’t want the glory let them go, because you are not helping them, but in truth they are hindering you.
But Stand thou Still Awhile: There are some things that do not come by laying on of hands, Somethings only come by laying on of floor, and weeping and travailing and groaning in the spirit,
Sometimes you have to do like Elijah and put your head between your knees and take it by force.
Still Awhile: One of the main differences between servants and Sons is something as simple as time (Sons know that God deserves their best, and that Gods best requires time) Servants are those who want to keep things short and sweet.
Sons Know there are no shortcuts to Glory
A Pregnant woman knows there is no short cut to delivery without severe consequences.
Still Awhile:
Ps 46:10 Be Still and Know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
Not just slow down, but be still>
Be still:
Hab 2:20 But the Lord is in his holy temple: Let all the earth keep silence before him.
Isa 40:31 But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall run and not be weary they shall walk and not faint.
That I may show thee: That I may cause you to see, to understand, to receive revelation. (open the eyes of your spirit) Multitudes hear the word of God but not many see the word, when you see the word, you will begin to experience it.
It is when you see yourself healed that healing comes, it is when you see yourself prosperous that prosperity begins, It is when you see yourself walking in the glory of God casting out devils and healing the sick that things change.
This is one of the greatest reasons for spending quality time in the presence of the Lord, as we wait on him, the spirit of revelation comes upon us.
When you see the Word: You will begin to call things which be not as though they were, you will start commanding the hand of God.
If what you are seeing in the natural is contrary to what you see in the word, You will rebuke it and pluck it up by the roots, and command it into the sea.
Servants hear the word, But Sons see the word” = (Revelation)
Then after Saul has seen the Word, Samuel Anoints his head with Oil:
Stand thou still awhile while I shew thee the word of God:
If You want the anointing on your life you are going to have to spend some time in the word of God.
God doesn’t anoint fluff, he doesn’t anoint flesh, he doesn’t anoint opinions, he anoints his word:
When Jesus the Word came up out of the water, The Holy Ghost decended upon him in the form of a dove.
Then Samuel Kissed Him: If you want to live under the kiss of heaven you have got to show God that you Love his word. God Loves those who Love his Word:
When you give the word it’s rightful place in your life, you are honoring Gods Son.
(Now Samuel speaks to him of the lost donkeys being found, and signs that are getting ready to come to pass)
then vs 5 He says: Thou shalt come to the Hill of God where is the garrison of the Philistines.
How true it is that the closer you get to God and his will for your life, the greater is the opposition of the enemy.
You may not even really recognize the enemy’s presence until you start pursuing your destiny.
A company of prophets coming down from the high place:
Here are those who have been to a high place with God and the Spirit of God is upon them, and they are prophesying.
And the Spirit of the Lord will come upon thee, and thou shalt prophesy with them:
It is so important to surround yourself with that which ministers to your spirit and stirs the gifts in you.
And thou shalt Prophesy with them:
And thou shalt be turned into another man:
This is not speaking about salvation from sin, but this is a new dimension of Spiritual life, that so transforms you that it can be said of you, (He’s not the same Man) He’s a totally different person than he was.
