I just want to go on record again as saying; these 2 weeks have not been a Muslim bashing, but rather it’s been an exposing of the mystery behind the veil that makes Islam so intriguing to its 1.5 billion followers.
Last week we found out the complexity of the Muslim messenger and the confusion of the Muslim message. The apostle Paul warned us from the Book of Galatians about the “different gospel” that Islam is.
This verse warns of us not only of Islam but any cult in existence. Wether it’s Mormonism, the New Age, Jehovah Witness - all fall into the category of a false religion!
So let’s get right into 3 contaminated areas of Islam:
1. Islam’s Identity.
In our western view of religion, we see religion as not having power over all parts of life. Where the Muslim is taught that Islam has complete control over all areas of thought and action.
Think of Islam as more cultural than it is religious. Think of Islam as 7th century Arab culture. For an American to step into an Arab culture is just as disturbing as an Arab stepping into the American culture! This is the fundamental problem with the Middle East today!
Let me put it this way, Muslims are not Islamic unless they look and act 7th century! Mohammed took the Arab way of life that was all around him, with all its customs, and made it into a religion!
FACT: Whenever Islam is the dominant religion in a country, it changes the culture and gives it a 7th century Arab appearance.
Islamic fundamentalists are actively working to take control of “secular” Muslim governments like…Turkey, Jordan, Malaysia, Egypt, Iraq and Libya.
What really is Islam? Islam means, “submission”.
Surah 5:44,47 “If any do fail to judge (govern) what Allah has revealed, they are unbelievers…If they fail to judge (govern) by what Allah has revealed, they are those who rebel.”
Dr. Robert Morey says in his book “Winning The War Against Radical Islam”, “Islam is the driving force in over 50 nations and of those, over 40 nations are now 87% Muslims!”
The Muslim baby boom is exploding. The top global fertility leaders are Islamic countries, and they’re migrating and taking their culture with them. Muslim countries are the principal suppliers of new Europeans and the second biggest supplier of new Canadians. What is the most popular boys’ name in Belgium, Amsterdam and Malmo, Sweden? Mohammed. It’s the 5th most popular boy’s name in the United Kingdom.
In England there are more Muslims than there are Methodist. In France and Germany the Muslims now number in the millions compared to just 10 years ago when it was hard to even find a Mosque.
Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi observed: “There are signs that Allah will grant Islam victory in Europe — without swords, without guns, without conquest. The fifty million Muslims of Europe will turn it into a Muslim continent within a few decades.”
Norwegian Imam Mullah Krekar told an Oslo newspaper...
“Just look at the development within Europe, where the number of Muslims is expanding like mosquitoes. Every Western woman in the EU is producing an average of 1.4 children. Every Muslim woman in the same countries is producing 3.5 children. Our way of thinking will be more powerful than yours.”
So the identity of many nations has changed dramatically over the last 25 years! This is planned and calculate - with out hardly firing a shot!
2. Islam’s Imprisonment.
A. Over Women’s Rights.
October 5, 2001, Oprah had on her show 31 year old Queen Rania, the westernized queen of Jordan.
These are the Queen’s own words spoken to millions of viewers that day, “Islam views woman as full and equal partners to men, so woman’s rights are guaranteed by Islam.”
If woman are equal to men, why does the Quran say...
• Surah 4:11 - Woman inherit half of what men can inherit.
• Surah 33:53 - A woman is not allowed to answer the door if her husband is not home and if the husband is not home she is not permitted to speak to anyone.
• Surah 33:33 - Women are to remain in the home. And they cannot travel outside of the home without the husband’s permission!
• Surah 33:55 - A woman can only show her face to her immediate family.
It’s documented in the Hadith that Muhammad said...
“A cheap rug is more valuable in a man’s home than a woman.”
B. Over Human Rights.
Since Israel has become a nation in 1948, 7th Century Islam has been on the rise and along with this growth and influence in the world, so has the lack of human rights!
KEY: A Muslim’s sense of value doesn’t come by recognition of God’s love, but by submission to Allah’s law.
Our Declaration of Independence proclaims that human beings, male and female, including children, are blesses with rights and one of those rights is the right to be treated humanly and respectfully!
But these principles are predominately a western idea!
Newsweek did an interesting article on this problem in Muslims countries. It documented the 5 worst countries as Saudi Arabia, Libya, Syria and Iraq. It states that in 7 other countries as having only a few human rights.
KEY: Not even 1 of 55 Muslim nations could be elevated to “Idea”! …Newsweek, December 2001
These countries are some of the richest nations in the world!
Saudi Arabia’s unemployment rate is over 35%. This is why the Wahhabist sect of Islam (17th century radical Muslim) is exporting terrorist by the 1000’s - because if there’s no job why not die for Allah and get 70 virgins and drink all the wine you want?
FACT: In Saudi Arabia, slavery was legal until 1970. In Muslim Sudan, slavery was legal until 1991.
In the United States we had a Civil War that killed thousands of men over this issue and settled this evil for us. In the 3-day battle at Gettysburg - 51,000 soldiers were killed.
Abraham Lincoln address the nation on
November 19, 1863…
“Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent, a new nation, conceived in liberty and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal.
Now we are engaged in a great civil war, testing whether that nation, or any nation so conceived and so dedicated, can endure.
We have come to dedicate a portion of that field, as a final resting place for those who here gave their lives that that nation might live…”
For this fact along - we ought to be proud of America!
Think about it - in what Muslim country has there ever been just a minor civil disobedience – let alone a war to settle this evil?
3. Islam’s Interpretation.
This is a historical fact…before Islam came to be, Jews and Arabs got along very well throughout the Middle East region!
A. His 12 Years of Preaching In Mecca.
After his conversion to Islam in Mecca, he spent much of his time acting as a priest, fasting, teaching and worship. He only had one wife for those 12 years and most importantly, not one verse was given to him on the subject of Jihad.
This is known as the when only Allah gives “peace” verses to Muhammad. It is a fact that during his time in Mecca, every one
of the Quranic revelations was positive towards the Jews.
Here Are Examples of His Kindness Towards The Jews and Christians:
• Surah 2:47 “O Children of Israel! Remember My favor which I bestowed upon you and that I preferred you over mankind…”
• Surah 2:62 “Verily! Those who believe and those who are Jews and Christians... and whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day and does righteous good deeds shall have their reward with their Lord, on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.”
Notice that they are not infidels or enemies of Allah!
But the dominant Arab tribes tried to get him to abandon Islam. From this point… it’s very important to know that when Muhammad left Mecca for Medina, Islam drastically changes.
The evidence seems to show that Muhammad left Mecca a very bitter and broken man - virtually no growth to Islam and not 1 killing or statement of hate.
As Dr. Omar Farouk writes in his book “The Arab and Islam”, “The migration of the prophet of Islam from Mecca to Medina is of great importance in Islamic history. It marks a great revolution in the nature of Islam. Islam went from a religious and spiritual revelation to a political agenda.”
B. His Years of Persecuting In Medina.
His first big success was with 2 warring Arab tribes and they become converts. Then with this new power he set out to convert the Jews.
But The Jews and Christians Recognized Several Problems…
• The name Allah was nowhere to be found in the O.T.
• This name was used in pre-Islamic periods and it referred to one of 360 idols including the moon god.
• They realized many contradictions that were unacceptable to them.
By now the Jews were starting to challenge him and so they asked Muhammad for a sign to validate his revelations and obviously he couldn’t come up with any.
From here Jews mocked, insulted and spit on Muhammad. They even tried to poison him once. After about a year of this more revelations start coming to Muhammad and now they are strikingly different then the ones back in Mecca.
I want to quickly mention 2 major events that most scholars think demonstrates how bad it got for Jews…all because the Jews would not embrace Islam…
• The destruction of The Nadir Tribe in 625 A.D.
He demolished their village and took every bit of money and livestock they had
• The massacre of the Qurayzah Tribe in 627 A.D.
The angel Gabriel comes to Muhammad and says… “…Why don’t you get your sword and the Jihad will continue…the angels of Allah never put away their sword…
After 25 days of fighting the Jews surrender. But that wasn’t enough for him; he helped murder anywhere from 800 to 900 Jews men by making the men dig huge trenches. Then he commanded them to get in them and then his men cut their necks with swords and then let them bleed to a quick death!
Notice again that Muhammad attacks first and the Jews only try to defend themselves! And notice that he thinks God is on his side by telling him what to do!
Remember in Surah 2:47 they were blessed, but now in Medina everything changes!
Surah 5:60 “…Regarding the recompense from Allah; those Jews who incurred the curse of Allah and His wrath…He transformed into monkeys and swine’s…”
So by 629 A.D. there was zero tolerance for any Judaism in Arabia. Muslim historian Ibn Kathir in his work “The Beginning of The End” writes, “During a sermon in his Mosque he declared that he would destroy the Jewish community in Arabia and that he would clean the land from the evil of Jews and Judaism in the name of Allah.”
By the way, Who said this next statement… “Today, I am acting in accordance with the will of the Almighty Creator; by defending myself against the Jews, I am fighting for the work of the Lord.” …Adolf Hitler, 1942
Folks, from the Identity, the Imprisonment and the Interpretation, we have seem the true light of Islam.
I want to close with this is a very important point…Islamic tradition and scholarship teaches that the later Quranic verses cancel out the early verses!
So peace and mercy is out and persecution and murder is in! So today when Muslims talk about being a peaceful religion, they don’t know their own rules of interpretation!
Just think for moment…Jesus raised the dead and Mohammad killed the living. Jesus healed the sick and Mohammad harmed the healthy. Jesus released the oppressed and Mohammad enslaved the free! And it’s still happening today somewhere around the world!
