Unlimited Access to Jesus
Ephesians 2:11-22
I. Without Jesus, We have Nothing
A. No Citizenship.
“…excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise…”
B. No Hope.
“…without hope…”
C. No God.
“…without God in the world…”
II. We Have Been Reconciled through Jesus
“But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of Christ.”
A. Jesus is our Peace.
“…he himself is our peace…”
B. Jesus is our Reconciler.
“…reconcile both of them to God through the cross…”
C. Jesus is our Mediator.
“…through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit…”
III. Characteristics of God’s Household
A. God’s House Has a Strong Foundation.
“…built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets…”
B. God’s house Needs Jesus.
“…with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone…”
C. God’s house Is United.
“…the whole building is joined together…”
4. God’s house Is Holy.
“…rises to become a holy temple in the Lord…”
