You Are the Chosen and the Blessed
Ephesians 1:1-14
I. You are Chosen by God:
A. Chosen to be Holy.
“…to be holy and blameless in his sight…”
B. Chosen to be His Child.
“…to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ…”
C. Chosen According to His Will.
“…according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will …”
D. Chosen to Glorify God.
“…for the praise of his glory …”
II. You are Redeemed by Jesus
A. We have Redemption.
“…redemption through his blood…”
B. We have Forgiveness.
“…the forgiveness of sins…”
3. We have Wisdom.
“…with all wisdom and understanding…”
4. We have Knowledge.
“…he made known to us the mystery of his will…”
III. You are Sealed by the Holy Spirit
A. You Believed the Gospel.
“…having believed…”
B. You Joined the Body of Christ.
“…you also were included in Christ…”
C. You Were Marked with a Seal.
“…you were marked in him with a seal…”
