It doesn’t matter What you are up against.....or what’s gone wrong in your life....
You need to know that there is a Solution to Every Problem you face in life....
You just have to know where to look.....
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
I like that Jesus said "I am the WAY..."
So often in life..... I hear people say "There’s NO way..."
"There’s no way you can Overcome that...."
"There’s no way to get out of that situation...."
"There’s no way You will Ever get Over that Sickness or disease...."
"There’s no way you can ever Succeed..."
But I want you to know that God has made a Way and His Name is Jesus.....
Mark 1:14-15 Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,
15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
Do you know what the Gospel is? It’s the Good News
When Jesus first told us about the Gospel He was anointed to bring....
He said in Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord
Jesus said the Good News is .....
Poor ...You don’t have to be Poor any more....
Brokenhearted....You can be healed....
Captives....You can go free....
Blind.... You can receive your sight
and ....Those whose past has held you back.....You can be made Free from it....
That’s the Real Gospel.....
That’s what Paul was talking about in Romans 1:16 ....When he said
".... I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth......"
The Power of the Gospel is Available to Every Believer....
It’s the Power that Gets you Born Again....
It’s the Power that Gets you Over in life....
It’s the Power that brings us the Victory ....IF we will Believe it.....
If you have Believed the Gospel of Jesus Christ.....
You can hold your head high and Shout Hallelujah unto God....
because You have Received the Power of God unto Salvation....
That’s Safety, Deliverance, Health and Security....
It includes All that we need for Life and Godliness... In Christ Jesus
The Real Gospel is Nothing we have to Be Ashamed of.....
but it’s Joy Unspeakable and Full of Glory
I don’t how in the world we ever allowed satan to get us over into portraying Christianity like we have.
We’ve talked about "how hard it is to live a Christian life".....
"how much trouble the devil gives you"
We’ve told folks "If you’ll quit that.....if you’ll give up this, THEN the Lord will save you"
Or....."Straighten this out....or ....Give this up and God will heal you or meet your needs...."
But that doesn’t match what Jesus said we are supposed to have believed.....
Jesus said ".....believe the gospel" .......That’s the GOOD NEWS......
Did you ever notice: How Quick folks are to Believe the Worst....
but how Slow we are to Accept Good News...
We see people so often.....take the Bad Report and RUN with it....
They get on the phone and tell Everybody who will listen....
but it’s like Pulling Teeth to get Folks to Testify about the GOOD God has done in their lives....
Isaiah 53:1 shows us that .....
Believing God’s Good Report Opens us up to seeing the "Arm" (the Power) of the Lord in our lives...
Most Christians have been Believing and Reporting the WRONG NEWS.....
Christianity is not about What you Give Up.....It’s about What you Get....
John 3:16 says "....God so loved......that He GAVE...."
He gave so You and I could HAVE Something....a Real and Lasting Life....
God’s not out to Take Away From You.....
The Gospel isn’t Subtractioin ....it’s Addition....
God wants to GIVE YOU SOMETHING
John 1:12 says " But as many as received him, to them gave he.......
He GAVE something........
"....as many as Received him, He gave them Power to become the sons of God...."
All I have to do is Receive what He Gave.....
I don’t have to try and Convince God that I’m good enough to get it.....because He Gave it....
Now it’s a nobel idea to TRY to be a better person but....
You cannot live for God in your own strength
You couldn’t give up sinning if you tried......
There’s no list of rules and regulations going to get sin out of you either....
They proved that in the Old Testament.....
And Even IF you could .....It wouldn’t Get you into heaven.....
Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
It’s Receiving the Lord Jesus Christ and then Living in the Power that HE GIVES YOU......
...That’s what Qualifies you for Heaven....
And that’s How you Get the Power to Overcome the Obstacles to you living a Joyous...and Victorious life.....
You can’t give up sin until you’ve accepted the Saviour.....
You can’t give up your sickness until you’ve accepted Him as your Healer....
You can’t give up poverty until you’ve Accepted the Provider......
You have to Receive what God HAS ALREADY GIVEN.....
John said "....As many as Received Him...gave he power....."
A lot of folks say "Well,...... confess your sins and God will save you."
but that’s not what the Bible says....and You better be glad it doesn’t....
because you couldn’t remember them all anyways.....
No, We’re told to........ Repent (that is....change our purpose and attitude toward God).......
......Receive Jesus and Quit Sinning
Instead of trying to get over or Accomplish something in our own strength....
We need to Receive what God has given us through Jesus Christ....
There are some folks that are always thinking "I’ve got to Do this and this and this..... "do, do, do"
They’re trying to Do enough good things so they can Earn the Blessings of God....
It’s good to work for God and to DO things to further His Kingdom in the earth.....
but you can DO until you can ’t DO anymore......but.....
you won’t ever EARN God’s Blessings....
I’m not saying that we shouldn’t DO GOOD works....and things that Promote God’s Kingdom....
If you are Truly Born Again.....You Will Do That....
But We’ve FOCUSED on What we can get By TRYING and DOING.....
without Focusing on WHAT WE HAVE RECEIVED when we Accepted Jesus as our Saviour and Lord.....
We’ve tried to GET FAITH....thinking "If I can get my faith big enought God will heal me....or God will help me..."
But Romans 10:17 says "...faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God."
Faith will only Spring into Action when we Believe the Word of God and Receive what it says is Ours with the FAITH we ALREADY HAVE.
Then they’re is another group saying "Don’t Don’t Don’t"
and they’re trying to Give Up enough things to Qualify for God’s Blessings....
This group is constantly talking about Sacrificing this and that for God.....
They think "If I can just get Poor and Needy enough....God will notice me."
...."If I just Give up enough for Him.....He’ll be Pleased enough with me to give me something....
but the Bible Says that "Without FAITH it’s IMPOSSIBLE to Please God...."
You’re never going to Win His Affection and blessing that way....
You Already have His Affection......
God proved His Love for us in that While we were yet sinners, Christ Died for us......
WHILE WE WERE SINNERS.......SINNING EVEN
He Loved Us.....He Blessed us....He GAVE Jesus FOR US......
Without us Giving up ANYTHING.....
That’s trying to Accomplish Righteousness by Works and we can’t DO IT.....
At best....Our Righteousness by works is as Filthy Rags.....
We have to Come to God with the Righteousness which is by FAITH.....
....that Believes and Receives what God through Jesus has Already Done.....
That’s what Paul was telling us in Romans 10:6-10
That the Rightousness which comes by faith isn’t Looking for Jesus to Come down and DO AGAIN what He’s already done....
but instead it says "Jesus has Already shown His Supremacy and Lordship Over Sin and Death.....
......over Sickness and Disease.....Over satan and his power.....
then he said that We have to Believe the Gospel in our hearts and Confess it with our mouths to Activate it in our lives....
We need to be a Part of a Third Group that says "Done, Done, Done"
It’s already Done for me in Christ Jesus....
Jesus already Died for me ....so I am Alive unto God.....
He’s already Paid for my Deliverance....so I am Living Free....
He’s already been Striped for my healing ......So I Refuse to let sickness and disease rule in my body....
Faith is not out in the future somewhere....Faith is always NOW.....
As long as there is a "Someday" attached to our plans....There is no Faith Involved.....
It’s when you believe in What He’s Done that you are Empowered to Do Something......
That’s why most Christians aren’t operating with any power in their lives....
They’re Waiting on God to DO what He’s Already DONE.....
That’s why so many people struggle so long without God in their lives....
even though they know that He’s what they need in their lives more than anything....
They have a hard time just Accepting the Fact that God could Love them and Accept them JUST LIKE THEY ARE...
but that’s the Only Way He will take you.....
When you realize that He is Your ONLY HOPE.......
What do we need to do to Remedy what’s Wrong in our lives? Believe the Gospel....
Believe the Good News that.....
The price has been paid and the Way has been made.....
That’s the only way you and I will ever have any Consistent Peace and Stability in our lives.....
In Matthew 16:13 Jesus asked the disciples "Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? "
Several Opinions were given.........John the Baptist, Elijah, Jeremiah.....
Then He asked ..."But whom say ye that I am? "
and that’s the Real Question that We have to Answer.....
2 Chronicles 20:20 ..... Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
The Hebrew word for "established" is, ’aman.....
And it means: "to be firm, endure, be faithful, and Established."
it indicates that a subject is "lasting" or "enduring,"
It also signifies the element of being "firm" or "trustworthy." "to stand fast," or "be fixed in one spot,"
The "God of the ’amen" is the God who always accomplishes what He says; He is a "God who is faithful."
That’s how we have to see God
Faithful, lasting, enduring, ------ but also trustworthy
2 Timothy 1:12 ..... for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.
Genesis 15:6 And he (Abraham) believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.
That doesn’t mean Abram just believed God Existed.
It means He Recognized God as being a God of Integrity, honesty, and commitment.
Abram was full of trust and confidence in God. He Believed IN WHO GOD IS as well as WHAT He is.
It was not primarily in God’s words that he believed, but in God Himself.
In other words, Abram came to experience a personal relationship to God rather than an impersonal relationship with His promises.
You’ve got to believe in God, before you can believe ON His Word.
Take God at His Word Today.....
He’s Already made the Way for Victory in your life....
He’s already given us, through Jesus, All that pertains to life and godliness....
