“Future Home”
We have spoke to you about The Family Home, The Church Home and today lets look at our Future Home.
A bus driver and a minister were standing in line to get into heaven. The bus driver approached the gate and St. Peter said, "Welcome, I understand you were a bus driver. Since I’m in charge of housing, I believe I have found the perfect place for you. See that mansion over the hilltop? It’s yours.
The minister heard all this and began to stand a little taller. He said to himself, "If a bus driver got a place like that, just think what I’ll get."
The minister approached the gate and St. Peter said, "Welcome, I understand you were a minister. See that shack in the valley?"
St. Peter had hardly gotten the words out of his mouth when the irate minister said, "I was a minister, I preached the gospel, I helped teach people about God. Why does that bus driver get a mansion, and I get a shack?"

I must tell you first of all that there are only 2 future homes but you get to choose which Home you desire.
The Christians who did the most for the present world were just those who thought most of the next.

Sister Laura Lee from Beech Grove was in the Owensboro hospital several years ago and early in the morning around 2AM she called us into the ICU room and tried to tell us about what she saw. Jesus was the main attraction.
(song) "There’s a land that is fairer than day. And by faith we can see it afar. For the Father waits over the way. To prepare us a dwelling place there. In the Sweet by and by, We shall Meet on that beautiful shore. In the sweet by and by, we shall meet on that beautiful shore."
If you like liars, cursers, cheaters, R rated movies and worse you will not like heaven.
Walls of Jasper, Gates of Pearl, Street of God, River of Life; it is the very residence of God and the Lamb is the Light of the city.
This earth is the home of sorrow and tears, but heaven in heaven there will be no sorrow and all tears will be wiped away.
This earth is a land of heartbreaks and heart attacks, this earth is a land of aches and pains but in heaven we will have a new body I’ll have a new life, praise the Lord.
Heaven is above, for Jesus came down from above.
The dead in Christ shall rise first and we shall rise to meet them in the air.
If you are not excited about heaven you are not ready.
Song : “When we all get to heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be. When we all see Jesus, we’ll sing and shout the victory."
Dieing does not prepare you for heaven. Death does not make you a saint.
Heaven is a prepared city and only prepared people can enter, Jesus said I go to prepare you a place if you trust in Him. Jn 14: 1 & 2
Once in heaven ALL temptation will be over, you can never be pulled out.
Mt 6:20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
There will be those that will want to enter after death and after the saints are in heaven.
There will be those that knock, but it is too late, the words I never knew you will ring in their ears throughout eternality. Matt 7:23
If you are ready for heaven raise your hand.
Come and go with me to my fathers house.
Ladies and Gentlemen, that’s what our new home is going to look like. Every time you get depressed, every time you start feeling like you have no reason to go on, I want you to read this. Because this is what the future looks like for the children of God. When Jesus comes back for us at the rapture or at the hour of our death, this is where we’re headed. This is where we’re going. And we shall reign with Christ forever and ever.
Many love ones have left this earth and some of their last words were something like this: Just inside the gate I will meet you there.
Heaven is the Hope of the Church; the coming of Jesus the Rapture is heaven for the saint of God.
Could you say you are ready for heaven if asked?
The lukewarm will not enter,
Rev 21:27 says no one will enter but they which have their names written in the Lamb’s book of Life.
5 wise, 5 foolish.
5 wise had oil in their lamps, the 5 foolish thought they would wait till later.
But they waited too late. They asked afterwards to come in but it was too late.
Rich man and Lazarus, the rich man is in hell and he see Lazarus in heaven. The rich man can not enter because he had already made his choice, but people in hell do not want family and friends with them they want them to go to heaven.
The rich man in hell prayed for his family not to come there.
Are you ready for heaven?
If you put your faith and trust in God and in Jesus, you can walk out of church today with the confidence that comes from knowing that your sins are forgiven and that there is a place in heaven reserved for you.
A place where there is no more sickness. No more suffering. No more pain. No more heart disease. No more loneliness. And no more cancer.
Let the thought of heaven encourage you in your life today. Let it remind you that this life is just a drop in the bucket.
Listen to the words from heaven, it is a Holy invitation;
Re 22:16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, [and] the bright and morning star.
:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
:20 ¶ He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
And another songwriter puts it this way: "What a day that will be. When My Jesus I shall see. When I look upon His face. The One who saved me by His grace. When He takes me by the hand. And leads me through the Promised Land. What a day, glorious day, that will be."
