1. He is the Master Designer
The addition that Jesus built is his own design. He is the master designer. However Jesus is greater than the addition he builds.
We are not to worship the addition Jesus builds, but worship the designer and builder, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, in the addition that Jesus builds.
"whose house we are" References: Ephesians 2:22 in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.
2. He Only Places the Best Houses in His Additions
The materials that Jesus used to build his house, is the lives of everyone that has given their hearts to him.
The church is the addition where Jesus places the houses that he builds.
1 Timothy 3:15 but if I am delayed, I write so that you may know how you ought to conduct yourself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.
We become the addition that everyone desires to live. A place of comfort, fellowship, and spiritual growth!
3. We are to Add to the Additions Jesus Builds
The uniqueness of the houses that Jesus builds in His addition is never finished, he is always adding to it and improving it.
In the eyes of the Father, the son’s design is absolute perfection.
This addition that Jesus has placed us in is the local church. This is where we must dwell!
4. You Can’t Live Outside the Additions
God did not put wheels on our house so that we can move from one place to another.
God did not design us that way.
We need a foundation to be anchored to.
Constant moving will destroy the house.
5. We Cannot Live in Additions not Created By Him
Some neighborhoods are safer than others, but all have danger.
These neighborhoods outside of Christ are condemned to eternal fire.
They will not be reconstructed. If you dwell in one of these neighborhoods move! Move now, before it’s to late.
Come to the master designer and he will renovate your house and make it new.
