Exodus 23:20-21.
“See, I am sending my angel before you to lead you safely to the land I have prepared for you.”
There is a land to which God wants to lead us!
The Bible says of Abraham that he sought a land and a city whose builder and maker is God!
The Bible says of Adam that God placed the Man (Adam) in the Garden
To tend it, to eat of its fruit, to enjoy it, and to enjoy the very presence of God himself there.
We know that Adam sinned and was cast from the garden!
We also know that through Jesus we have been restored to fellowship with God through the precious blood of the lamb.
But many of His people still haven’t entered the garden!
And many who have entered the garden haven’t discovered the river
And many who have discovered the river still dwell on its banks
And many who have entered the river haven’t yet seen the fullness of promise
Found in the river.
“See, I am sending my angel before you to lead you safely to the land I have prepared for you.”
Will we be led today into the fullness of the Glory yet to be revealed in a return to the rivers of Eden?
Psalm 46:4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.
Rev 22:1 And the angel showed me a pure river with the water of life, clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb, 2 coursing down the center of the main street.
Spiritually, in Hebrew, we find out that this River, symbolically, that comes from the Throne of God, it can make its own course. There is such a torrent. There is such a force that comes from the Throne. This isn’t a trickle. It’s such a torrent of water that’s so powerful, that it makes it’s own path. Glory be to God. Wherever that River desires to go, it just cuts its own bed. That’s the River of God.
Genesis tells us that a River flowed through and went out of Eden and parted into four.
Genesis 2 "And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads. The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold; And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone. And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia. And the name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates."
Today I want you to step into the invitation of God
To enter the Garden ~To enter the River ~to abandon yourself to the purpose of God! I believe that he want s to show you something more of the River, something we often overlook!
THE RIVER BECOMES FOUR!
The names and the meaning of the four rivers give us a clue about what the Holy one of Israel wants to lead us into as we abandon ourselves to Him!
This is not the promise for a few, but this is the promise to the “Sons & Daughters” whom Jesus has redeemed!
There is a release of Angelic assistance in the Earth right now! To lead Sons & Daughters into the fullness of God. Into the place of overwhelming Glory found in the River that flows through and out of the heavenly Eden!
Now the four rivers!
Pison = "increase"
Gihon = "bursting forth"
Hiddekel = "rapid"
Euphrates = "fruitfulness"
There is a prophetic message here for the end time harvest. Where the Earth will be filled with the Glory of God!
All the fullness of the Godhead is found in Jesus and all of Jesus is found in His Sons & Daughters!
So that which flows from under the throne is part of your inheritance!
Lets consider what the Glory God is releasing
Pison ~ “Increase”
We cant get the job done in our own strength! In a vision in 2004 God showed me the harvest field, he proudly showed me the servants labouring in that field! But the field was huge and the harvesters were few! I heard the sound of heaven come into the worship, then I saw the mighty giants in the field, bound with ropes and unable to move. As the Atmosphere changed the ropes fell off and the giants arose to the task. In one swipe of their sickles huge areas of the harvest came in! This is the Glory harvest ready now! Waiting for Increase! From the river! The angel of the lord is inviting you to get into this river of increase! It will bring a sound from heaven to your lips! This sound will change the Atmosphere! And bring a release of Glory harvesters!
Many ask me what are we accomplishing by seeking the Glory? The answer is clear! It will change the atmosphere! Which will release the giants! Come and join us and jump into this river of increase! The increase is not for my pleasure alone but to bring about a glory harvest of souls into the Kingdom! Increase in finance, increase of love, increase of compassion, increase of power, increase of signs, increase of wonders, increase of the knowledge of God, increase in the awareness of Jesus, increase increase increase!
2. River Gishon “Bursting fort
Here is a symbolic example of the desire of God! He isn’t wanting to touch mankind in a gentle breeze or a warm trickle. But a mighty bursting forth!
When I was living in Te Aroha in the early 80’s there was a massive flood, the Waihou & the Piako rivers burst their banks, in places in the town homes were under 8 feet of water The towns of Te Aroha Paeroa & Thames were flooded and so was the farmland surrounding! It seemed like a disaster to the Land, it couldn’t be farmed for months! But I want to tell you that when things settled down the silt that covered the land was so rich, the grass and the crops that grew in the years following were amazing!
I have news! When the Holy Spirit turns up, systems and programs fall over. There appears to be a bit of a mess! But in the bursting forth, there is a release of new and precious revelation! Of Gold and of supernatural manna! And in the ensuing years an amazing harvest!
Many are playing around the edge of the river Gishon
But the Angel of the Lord, invites you in!
To abandon yourself to this bursting forth.
Acts Chapter 2 was a bursting forth
And this revival of Glory is also a bursting forth!
The one thing that I need to say about the flood of the early 80’s is that giant logs that had been lying in the forest perhaps 100 years were washed down by the bursting forth! There was still good timber in those logs but they needed to move to be of use! The river Gishon will wash away religious mindsets
To release the fullness of the good timber in you!
.3. River Hiddekel = "rapid
The word I love in the Bible most is “Suddenly” It may have taken nearly 2000 years to get this far, but this move of Glory is rapid & sudden! Just when we think we are coming to a grand place in God! The Rapids come! We are propelled into change and or times seem turbulent! Many may be tempted to believe that this river is not of God! After all we have been in a river of Increase and a river of breakthrough, suddenly we find ourselves in the rapids! The rapids may be a series of events in the world that bring radical change! Earthquakes, wars, shaking and collapse! But even in the midst of this river there is Glory! Rapids contain more oxygen, than still waters! Oxygen brings life and vitality to the body! The Rapids cause us to work together to get through! John 17 was the last major prayer of Jesus! “Father that they may be one, even as we are one”! Unity is the result of living in the River Hiddekel. The Angel invites us into this river, most don’t want to get in! this river places a cost on us! But in order to move forward in the Glory Harvest we need to! Unity will come in this river, as we are cast together as never before. Psalm 133 will be fulfilled, the Prayer of John 17 will be fulfilled, and God will command a blessing! Many of us are stuck in the river Pison or Gishon enjoying the fruits of these rivers, we are reluctant to enter the river Hiddekel but enter we must in order to come to the next river.
4. The River Euphrates = "fruitfulness"
The Children of Israel finally entered a land of promise, a land flowing with milk and honey. A land of fruitfulness. Many want to get into this river first, but we can’t until we have passed through the other rivers. The final stage of this Glory Revival will be a time of prolonged fruitfulness! Why do I say prolonged? Because the Euphrates is a large river. And around it are the richest fields of oil in the world! Oil speaks of a powerful move of the Holy Spirit! We haven’t even begun to see the length & depth of this river in the world yet! In this river we begin to see the vastness of God! There is something new to be seen in God at every turn and at every minute of our journey. The Angel invites us into this River! To gaze upon the beauty of the Lord! to see his majesty and to experience all the fullness of His Glory. Finally Eden is restored and our harvest is fruitful!

Come to the river! That flows from God above Come to the fountain That’s filled with Gods great love Come to the waters There is a vast supply Come to the river That never shall run dry!
