(NKJV) Joshua 1 8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

1. The word abides means to remain, dwell, and stand up for. Do we as men dwell in His presence daily? Do we stand up for the Word of God? Are we willing to remain standing when adversity hits home?
2. The best way to allow Jesus to abide in you is by allowing His word to fill your mind, heart, soul and emotions with His perspective.
3. Abiding in Jesus means that we are relying on His promises when we are pressed with all kinds of opposition, uncertainties and difficulties.
Summary
Abiding in Christ means finding our primary fulfillment in Him, fellowshipping with Him. Abiding in Christ means that we allow Him to speak to us. We must get into the secret place with God, close the door and listen to what He has to say to you. Jesus spent much time alone in prayer& meditation in order to hear the Divine whisper of His heavenly Father. As Men of The Word, we must follow Jesus Christ’s example!
