How to keep driving on E
1. Invite Him to come- VS 1&2
Jesus would have never been there...
If someone hadn’t invited him
Jesus will not go... WHERE HE IS NOT WANTED
SET JESUS FREE TO BE GREAT IN YOUR LIFE
Quit limiting him.... Quit giving him a way out
If he needed a way out HE COULD FIND ONE.... GRAVE
He will never come and condemn you ... Quit running from him... Ducking him
Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
2. Ask Him to help- VS 3&4
Church.. Most of our wounds are self inflicted.
We have the KING OF KINGS... LORD OF LORDS at our disposal... USE HIM
Not us... We’ll ask everybody under the sun.... Won’t ask the SON
Family, Friends, Horoscopes, Oprah
Just say “WE’RE OUTTA BOOZE”
James 4:2 ... HAVE NOT... BECAUSE YOU ASK NOT
3. Do what he says to do- VS 5
We wonder why we’re struggling... Fighting...
ARE WE DOING WHAT HE SAID TO DO
fill em up.. Take em to the master... FINISHED
Do you realize how quickly our problems would be over... DO WHAT HE SAYS
My biggest problems have come.... NOT OBEYING
Doing what I thought I should do... Instead of what HE said to do
4. Be ready to be used - VS 6
God can you and will use... WHATEVER HE WANTS TO
Be the instrument that God wants to play...
Be the beat He wants to dance to
I doubt those water pots knew... BRING FORTH A MIRACLE
By Holding WATER
Be the vessel that holds what God wants to share
2 Chronicles 16:9 For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him.
I always thought it was the other way around...
I THOUGHT I HAD TO SHOW MYSELF STRONG
Invite Him...Ask Him to help...Do what he says...Be ready to be used
5. See & Believe - VS 11
Don’t let God change the wedding...
And not send a THANK YOU CARD
We ask our kids...“What do you say?”...Thank You
Live every day knowing you have a MIRACLE WORKING GOD
