ONCE JESUS FINDS US!!
TITUS 3:3-8
At the beginning of our lives we were all
disobedient to God!!
We knew how God wanted us to live didn’t we?
We knew his commandments, and
we knew his laws.
But we rejected all the above, AMEN
And all sin is against God.
We disobeyed God!!!!
But we have the opportunity to
get it right with Him!!!
And once we get it right, Sin will have
no dominion over us!!!!
Jesus had no sin because his heart was
right toward God!!!
He was in God’s perfect will!!!!
John 8:36 says:
If The Son therefore shall make you free
ye shall be free indeed!!!
How many of us tonight, are actually living
like we are really free???
With Jesus Christ living in your heart
You are as free as free can be!!!!!!AMEN
Don’t get me wrong now I ain’t saying
that we’re all perfect!!!
But we have to strive to be perfect!!
We all make mistakes, and sometimes
they’re worthy of severe punishment.
But God forgives us and loves us for who
and what we are!!!!AMEN
And the Apostle Paul had this same problem dealing with sin.
Romans 7:14 says
For we know that the law is spiritual
but I am carnal, sold under sin.
Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death
but the gift of God is eternal life
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
The Apostle wasn’t just talking about
the way he used to be so sinful,
persecuting Christians and so on
and then finally accepting the Lord Jesus
Christ as his personal Savior.
He was just admitting that he was weak
and gave into sin, just like you and I do daily.
And Paul even seemed to condemn himself
in Romans 7:25 it says:
O wretched man that I am!
Who shall deliver me from the body of
this death!!
People Jesus Christ is the only one who
can deliver us from this sinful body!!!
And not to mention this sinful world!!!
The Bible says:
For all have sinned and come short of
the Glory of God!!!
How many times a week could you just kick
yourself for failing God????
You try to be patient with your kids, or your spouse, or your parents.
And just in a split second we lash out,
and our words and our actions, become
sin.
And BAM the damage is done!!!!
You thought you were prayed up
and you thought that you had that nasty habit of sin Broken!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But we allow the devil to slip right
in the back door!!!
Romans 3:10 says:
There is none righteous, no, not one!!!
Way too often we listen to that little devil
voice when it says.
It’ll be ok just this once!!!!!
And then you feel like a failure.
And the Holy Ghost is convicting you,
And He is guiding you
right back into repentance!!!!!
Thousands of times daily and weekly
we fail in a thousand different ways.
We try to live by the standards that
we know is right.
We try not to sin and all the time we know better.
And you feel dumb and un-loved, when you do.
And sometimes you may feel like you have
lost your joy of your Christian Walk!!!!
But right behind those gray, dark clouds
is clear blue sky!!!!!
When everything seems to be going wrong
get your seatbelt on because there’s a blessing just on the horizon!!!
So many people think they have to wait to
get their problems ironed out before they
can serve the Lord!!!
But sinners listen, When I got right with God The sin question was settled.
You begin to think of that home that’s on
the rocks.
When Jean and I gave our lives to God
We stopped drinking the alcohol.
We stopped spending Friday and Saturday
nights at the bars and clubs playing devil music.
Our arguing and fighting stopped.
We gave up our worldly things
We begin to serve God.
We started getting up on Sunday morning.
and we Go now to worship God instead
of the devil.
Once you whole heartedly begin to serve God The troubles begin to be ironed out.
Once you start to pay your tithes,.
Your financial problems begin to work out.
And the next thing you know, you have
found complete happiness.
And all you want to do is work harder
for the Lord!!!!.

And The Closer you get to God
The better you feel!!!!!!!
We have to realize that we are guilty of
these sins of the flesh.
We are still flesh.
And we’re far from perfect.
Only Jesus Christ was perfect.
But we will be perfect one day,
when we receive that glorified body.
But until the returns, we’ll be fighting sin.
Like adultery, drinking, cheating, fornication,
gambling, smoking, lusting after the flesh
and money, and the list goes on and on.
These are the sins you can see, and touch.
Today America is broke down with all these sins, Our country is filled with discount liquor Stores and beer stores and discount tobacco marts.
And bars, and clubs and honky tonks,
and strip joints and pornographic movie stores,
And gay bars and that list goes on and on.
These sins have already ruined many a good person in the past and there’s many to be ruined in the days to come if the Lord tarries!!!!!
There’s so many of us that haven’t got a grip on the meaning of God’s Love, and Mercy, and grace.
We’ve not accepted his grace in our lives’
And in our reading tonight Paul is pointing
out to us our spiritual condition, before
we accepted Jesus Christ in our Hearts.
He calls us foolish, disobedient
deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures
hateful, hating one another.
Its so true that we continue to commit sins
after we have accepted Jesus but
we are no longer condemned for our sins.
Ephesians 2:1 says:
And you hath he quickened who were
dead in trespasses and sins.
Paul told us that we were formerly dead
or in other words We was Hell Bound People. Eternal death.
But thank God that through the precious
blood of Jesus Christ our sins have been
washed away and we’re clean and spotless
in the eyes of God, If we’ve repented
and accepted Jesus Christ in our hearts.
All the sins that we committed in our
former life are no longer remembered.
We’re no longer working for the devil!!!
Were no longer living with hate and envy
There are so many church members today
that are hating one another, and envying.
And sowing discord, and spreading gossip.
And these aren’t the sins we can see.
These ain’t the sins which hurt one or two people.
These are the ones that hurt whole church
congregations.
And maybe even whole organizations.
These people wouldn’t dare to gamble,
or they wouldn’t dare to go to the local bar for a drink.
And wouldn’t even think of going to
a strip joint, or a club.
But when it comes to gossiping and hurting
others and not to mention hating others.
OOOOOOHHHHHH WATCH OUT!!!!!!
These are sins that are just as guilty before
God, as an adulterer or gambler, or Murderer or a Rapist.............
The Apostle Paul says these are the
things of the past.
Dis-obedience toward God
and indulging in the sins of the flesh.
These sins were put away in Paul’s life.
And The Question Is,,,,,
HAVE YOU PUT THEM AWAY TONIGHT???
If not then I won’t be looking for you
in Heaven, by the ever flowing river of live.
Nor at the pearly gates, nor on the streets
of Pure GOLD!!!!
Now I know that you’re probably thinking,
just who does this hillbilly dude think he is,
telling me harsh stuff like this????
Well I’ll just let you in on a little secret!!!
When I was a sinner, this kind of message
hit pretty close to home for me too, and
was pretty harsh to me too!!!!
I felt like getting up and walking out sometimes.
But the Holy Ghost made me stay and listen.
If this message is offensive, don’t blame me.
Blame GOD!!!!!!!
Because its straight from the throne of God!!!
People let me tell you something
if you are feeling worthless because you’re
a sinner, Give it to God.
If you feel worthless as a born again Christian,
Give it to God!!!!!!!!!!.
We’re all just a bunch of dirty rotten no good sinners. AMEN
The only difference is some of us are saved
by Gods GRACE!!!!! AMEN
We can be saved by the Grace of God!!!
All we have to do is ask, and we will be
giving you the opportunity shortly!!!
In Verses 4-7 The Apostle Paul talks about
how the Holy Spirit has washed us clean
from our sins.
He tells us that we are not made clean by
anything that we do,
But its by the kindness and the love of God!!
You see God’s love can’t just be earned.
It has to be humbly accepted!!!!!AMEN
Jesus’ Brother James said
you have not because you ask not!!!!
Tonight there’s a 15 second prayer between
everlasting life in that beautiful place called
Heaven, and that terrible place called hell
where the worm dieth not and the fire
is not quenched!!!!
The bible says:
There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth!!!
Folks we are heirs of God and joint heirs of Christ.
When the Microsoft guy Bill Gates dies He’ll leave millions to his heirs.
But my God has got greater wealth than
anything we can possibly imagine that’s
just waiting for us.
People we are in a world full of terror,
and strife, and sin, and danger.
But God’s Holy Spirit is with us every
step that we make.
Psalm 23 says
yeah though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil
for thou art with me.
People God Loves us and He saved us and
He has given us eternal life, BUT
we have to accept it tonight.
We can’t slide into heaven on our good works, We can’t slide into heaven on being a good ole Boy or a good ole Girl...
We can only get there through Jesus Christ.
There’s a profit for us in all this.
In exchange for serving God.
The question is,
Does it pay a man to leave the devil’s
service and line up on God’s side and
SERVE HIM???
YES It Certainly Does!!!!
Matthew 16:26
For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
Every one who has tried it has already
found out that it does pay.
It pays right here and now in this world.
Even if there were no after-life,
No Heaven, No Hell.
It would still pay to be borned again here.
But there is more to it than that
It pays through a long and everlasting
eternity
Surely its good here, All This and Heaven Too!!!
In Closing tonight
There is a good point that can be made from the prodigal son, From the Book of Luke.
Its true that the prodigal son did eat with
the pigs, But unlike the pigs he chose to
return to his father.
There are some of us who just might be
looking at ourselves tonight.
We might be feeling like those worthless pigs.
We may think we are wallowing in the nastiness and the Sins of this life.
But We have to remember that we are
the Children of the Heavenly Father, and we are able to live in the freedom, and forgiveness of our God’s Arms.
BUT We have to choose to live that freedom.
There’s many I’m sure that’s like the rich man in hell, that’s praying and wishing that they would’ve chose to live that freedom with Their Heavenly Father.
We’ve been taught about His Love and His grace................
But we haven’t taken it to heart!!!!!
We need to realize that God Loves us for who we are and for what we are!!!!
And without Him we can’t do anything.
We can try to reach our goals in this life
alone and without God in our Live’s.
And we can see ourselves’s fall flat on
our faces.
Listen tonight folks:
It’s very true that God hates our sins
But He loves that person that commits them!!!
If you don’t know Jesus Christ tonight
as your Lord and Savior.
I don’t want you to leave this place without HIM............
For you to receive what God has prepared for you,
You have to take that first step, and reach out.
God is offering you this free gift of His
only Son Jesus Christ.
