REVELATION 9
HALL STREET BAPTIST
Oct 11, 2006
Midweek Worship
There is a battle mounting and preparing greater than any thing known to humanity. Satan and his legions of demonic angels are preparing to mount an offensive that will tear the last remaining shreds of creation into a desolate place of fear. Trumpets five and six announce the progression of the Anti-Christ until all resistance is abandoned for a season.
Humanity is brainwashed until ethical, moral, absolutes no longer find definition, and actions lack rational judgment. The beast shall prepare the fertile minds of disarray for the ultimate lie. Consolidating positions in the West, while dealing concisely with the forces to the North, and bringing into obedience millions of people who remain in the East; The Beast’s plans begin to enact the new world order. He sits himself up as a god, demanding all tribute, worship and praise be directed towards him and him alone.
Notice the pattern of deception:
*STRONG DILLUSION+SATANIC LIE+BLASPHEMY= Refusal to repent! Humanity will sell its soul in similar fashion; as Esau sold his birthright. There will not be any foresight or contemplation as to what the days ahead may bring, only the blinding, binding, grinding hunger for more. Scholars call chapter nine, the chapter of woe; because it speaks of humanities refusal to turn to God until their fate is sealed, and the hour has long since passed.
Definition of Satan:
Satan is the epitome of selfishness. He was created by God with a purpose; to glorify, honor, and praise God. Satan ha sought to displace God and rule the universe himself Isaiah 14:13-14 (five I will statements). Satan has titles in regard to this world some of them are, “John 12:31 (ruler), Eph 2:2 prince of the air, 2 Cor 4:4 god of this world”. He is behind every evil ruler of this world (1 john 5:19)
