For what are laborers responsible?—Sacrifice of self

Js. 2:14-22—“What use is it, my brethren, if a man says he has faith, but he has no works? Can that faith save him? 1Thess. 5:12-13—“But we request of you, brethren, that you appreciate those who diligently labor among you, & have charge over you in the Lord & give you instruction, & that you esteem them very highly in love because of their work. Live in peace with one another.”

Jn. 4:36-38—““Already he who reaps is receiving wages, & is gathering fruit for life eternal; that he who sows & he who reaps may rejoice together. “For in this case the saying is true, ‘One sows, & another reaps.’ “I sent you to reap that for which you have not labored; others have labored, & you have entered into their labor.”

1Cor. 3:7-8—“So then neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but God who causes the growth. Now he who plants & he who waters are one; but each will receive his own reward according to his own labor.”

1Cor. 16:15-16—“Now I urge you, brethren (you know the household of Stephanas, that they were the first fruits of Achaia, & that they have devoted themselves for ministry to the saints), that you also be in subjection to such men & to everyone who helps in the work & labors.”

Disappointed in size of the labor force? Yes, very disappointing to give your energies to the Lord only to have His graces be refused by others.
