Morning Session II

1. Valleys – LOW PLACES

a. Represent the low places in our lives

i. Valley speaks of what is lacking

b. It speaks of what is down:

i. Low self-esteem

ii. Depression

iii. Doubt and defeat

iv. Shame

c. God wants to fill what is empty

i. John 10:10

2. Mountain – HIGH PLACES

a. II Corinthians 10:15 – every high thing

i. Pride

ii. Stubborness

iii. Unteachable spirit

iv. Self ambition

1. Romans 12:3 “For through the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think more highly of himself than he ought to think; but to think so as to have sound judgment, as God has allotted to each a measure of faith”

3. Crooked –TWISTED PLACES

a. Went the wrong way

i. Perverse

ii. Unjust

iii. Wicked

iv. Compromising

b. Using something for what it was not designed for

i. Go straight – Focus

1. where other people can follow you

4. Rough – CHARACTER

a. Do you offend the Holy Spirit with your character?

i. Rude and crude

ii. Abrasive attitude

iii. Sand paper approach

b. We need to walk and talk like Jesus
