Preach It Again!

And when the enemies tried to kill him and tried to get him to come down off the wall:

Nehemiah said.. I’m not coming down off the wall. I’m doing a good thing for the Lord. And the joy of the Lord is my strength.

Can I get some help up in here? I’m just talking about the Word of God.

His prophecy reveals that the Word of God will and shall stand forever…….

The Word of God brought peace, protection, provisions, power and prosperity.

And I don’t mind telling you today that as I look back at my life, I can testify that in some of my darkest hours….only the Word of God could bring me peace.

It seems like no matter how long we live…. In every life some rain must fall.

And I’m a witness that there are some good day and some bad days

There have been some hills to climb. Some mountains to face . Some rivers to cross and even some valleys to go through.

There have been times when I have laid awake at night wondering what the next day would bring but when I heard a word from the Lord, I was able to keep on keeping on.

In my some of my most difficult days….In my most troubling moments.

In times when I couldn’t see my way out of things.

I couldn’t keep my head above water and I couldn’t see a silver lining in the cloud.

There was and there is a part of me that has learned to just pray, and stand on God’s word alone.

In times when I didn’t know what to do, which way to go, how things were going to work out or even If I was going to make it, I found that all I needed was a word from the Lord.

I found out all I need was to just have a little talk with Jesus and everything would be alright.

In a world filled with sickness, suffering, sorrow and shame.

In a country filled with chaos and contentions and confrontations.

In houses and homes all across the land, many of us need to be reminded of the Word of God

And I’m a witness that the Word of God is sharper than any two edge sword

I’m a witness that the Word of God is able to go forth and not return void

And even when I don’t what to say or do, I know this one thing that God is able.

I believe with all my heart the God I serve is able …He is able to do exceedingly abundant above all that I could ever think, want or ask

Can I preach this thing?

Oh, let me tell you today, I had to stand when I didn’t feel like standing anymore

I’ve had to push on and press on and pray on and praise on even when I didn’t feel like going on

Can I get some help up in here?

Oh, I have cried and moaned and groaned and wailed and worried and all it took was a Word from the Lord and I had hope again.

And I stopped by to tell you that there is a record of people who have come before us who found out that the Word of God will stand forever.

There is a record that the Word of God is a sword to fight your battles.

There is a record that the Word of God is water when you get thirsty, food when you get hungry, rest when you get weary, a healing when you are hurting and a strength and peace in the time of need.
