A. Jehovah is the Hope of Israel – Babylonian, Egypt, Assyria is not the hope

B.A God perfecting what he has promised

C. A God is performing what he has promised.

2. A prayer he expressed. Jer. 14:19

A. Confession of what might have been - Hope for peace Jer. 14:19

B. Confession of what was – Sin and Backsliding Jer. 14:19

C. Confidence in what could be – God’s power. Jer. 14:22

3. Plea of distressed - Jer. 14:21

On three grounds

A. Name of the Lord Ps.13:13, names of God, unchanging God, people change but God can not change, Heaven may pass away but His word will not pass away

B. Throne of God Ps. 135:21, Ps. 9:4,7& 8

C. Covenant of Lord with His people Ps. 106:45, Dan 9:20

As soon as you confessed the deliverance will come to you.
