Introduction

Introduction

Ladies and gentlemen, brothers and sisters in Christ, I welcome you all to today's sermon. We're gonna delve into a very special topic today, one that's sometimes overlooked in our worship but holds immense power - the power of praise through instruments, God's blessing on the musician, and uplifting the Kingdom through music.

Let me start off with an insightful quote from J. Reuben Clark Jr., "We get nearer to the Lord through music than perhaps through any other thing except prayer." Music, my friends, is one way we can elevate our idea of God, praising Him through a universal language that touches the heart.

Our key scripture today comes from Psalm 92:1-3 which reads:

"It is good to praise the Lord and make music to your name, O Most High, proclaiming your love in the morning and your faithfulness at night, to the music of the ten-stringed lyre and the melody of the harp."

Opening Prayer
