Plan for: Thanksgiving | Advent | Christmas
To explore the power, strength, and enduring nature of faith and how we can apply these lessons in our daily lives.
Good morning, brothers and sisters in Christ. Today, we will anchor our hearts on a beautiful passage from Hebrews 11:1, "Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see." We will delve into the enormous power of faith, the unyielding strength of faith, and the enduring nature of faith. As we journey into this message today, remember the words penned by theologian A.W. Tozer, who said, "Faith, as Paul saw it, was a living, flaming thing leading to surrender and obedience to the commandments of Christ."
Let us bow our heads in prayer. Lord, we thank you for the gift of faith, for the unseen but felt presence of your love and grace. As we dissect your Word today, we ask that you open our hearts and minds to grasp the depth of the message you have for us. Guide us as we seek to understand the power, strength, and endurance of faith and help us to apply these lessons in our daily lives. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
