Perfect Peace!

Day 1 of 40 days of fasting!

Romans 8:38-39 the Apostle Paul says, "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

I would like each one of you who have joined the 40 days of fasting which starts today March 1 to April 19 to memorize the scripture that I give for meditation each day. This would help you in a great way!

PERFECT PEACE WHEN YOU FEEL LIKE YOUR BREAKING INTO MILLION PIECES!

I am speaking to someone out there! Friend! Fear not, HE can put back the pieces together and make you a MASTERPIECE! You are special! I remember walking into ( I was not wheeled in) the operation theatre and helping myself with the change of clothes before a major operation with utmost ease and coolly! I knew my Jesus would be there much before me! I would never say that there was no pain, struggle or agony but in the midst of it all I experienced PEACE! I can’ t explain it! I kept thinking of Jesus who promised to be with me! No matter what you’re going thru right now, I repeat no matter how severe the situation may be, allow your heart and mind be stayed upon God then nothing can shake your Perfect Peace!

Before my encounter with Jesus, I have often gushed over the lavish lifestyle of the affluent and thought perfect peace comes when I get all stored up for the future. Jesus dashed into my life and crashed those crazy thoughts and became Super King of my life! When I surrendered my LIC policies, Money-back policies etc., the LIC agent was baffled, I had to calm him and say, ‘Jesus is now my surety, security and safety net.’ Having lost the source of commission, he looked shocked and also amused with my explanation. He never understood and so did many! Nevertheless, I did not just say that but I emptied my pocket and trusted Him for my future! He never failed me!

People of the world are pursuing peace through innumerable avenues but the more they chase, it is more elusive to them. There are Christians visiting Gyms, Parlors and Yoga classes diligently but alas they have shoved God behind the shelf, no wonder they are terrified by the smallest and slightest disturbance. It’s sad to watch the angst, worry, fear and terror that the Christians go through just like the rest of the world because they have failed to give God ‘space’ in their life that is too crowded with computer, iPhones, face book, twitter and what not!

Do not be intimidated by turbulence: be it a doctor report, HR report, dipping finances or breaking relationship, face it with trust in God and His Word!
