FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT (PEACE)

Text: Galatians 5:22

I. INTRODUCTION:

A. Sa pamamagitan ng bunga malalaman kung anong klaseng puno. (Espiritu Santo ang pinagmulan ng bunga)

B. Ang mga bunga ay Pag-ibig,Kagalakan,Kapayapaan. Lahat ng bunga ay mabuti, ipinahihiwatig na nais ng Dios na nagkakaloob na magbibigay ng mabubuting bagay.

C. Isa ding katotohanan na nais ng Espiritu Santo na mamunga ang kapayapaan sa ating mga buhay.

II. BODY

A. Peace with God (Romans 5:1)

1. We are naturally at peace with God

a. Sin broke the peaceful relationship of Eden

b. This is why the world is in trouble

2. The search for peace

a. We look for it in pleasure

b. We look for it in entertainment

c. We look for it in substances(alcohol, drugs)

d. We look for it in financial security

3. There is no peace apart from God (Isa. 57:19-21)

4. Christ came to bring us peace. He is the source of peace(Eph. 2:13-17)

B. The peace of God (Phil 4:6-7)

1. This is peace that is not limited to position

2. This is peace in all circumstances

a. When things aren’t going well

b. When funds are low and debts are high

c. When health is uncertain

d. When storms are raging

3. God’s formula for this kind of peace

a. PRAYER: The Holy Spirit prompts prayer

b. THANKSGIVING: The Holy Spirit produces thanksgiving

c. FAITH: The Holy Spirit gives faith

C. Peace with others(Eph. 4:1-3)

1. The Holy Spirit breaks down barriers between believers

2. The unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace produces revival (Acts 1:14; 2:1)

3. Things that grieve the Holy Spirit ( Eph. 4:30)

a. Bitterness

b. Anger

c. Evil speaking

III. CONCLUSION

A. Quench not the Spirit

1. Stop resisting Him

2. Be sensitive to His voice

B. Allow the Holy Spirit’s peace to rule in your Heart.
