Pastors 2007 Wish List

Intro: We live in a world of lists. Grocery lists, things to do lists. Radio stations have top 10 lists.

At Christmas time people hand you their wish lists. Sears even have a book called the Christmas wish book. In the Bible we have a pastoral wish list for this congregation. Today I am going to share with you, not my Christmas wish list, but my 2007 wish list for Bella Coola Pentecostal Church.

My 2007 Wish list is found in 3Jn:2

1. That you Prosper: I’m not a prosperity preacher. But I do believe in God’s blessings for those that serve Him. My prayer for you are that Gods favor rest upon your lives in 2007.

I pray that God will open doors for you that no one can shut. I pray that there will be opportunities in your life for success. I pray that you will get that raise, or that you receive something special in the mail; or that you begin to receive that “wow” money the wealth of the wicked to be yours in 2007. That someone would take it on them to bless you and your family.

I pray that the windows of heaven open up and pour out on and over your life.

I pray that not only financial prosperity, but I pray that you are blessed in your relationships. I pray that the marriages in this church remain strong, and that there will be peace and joy in your homes. I pray that those who are still single that the Lord would be your guide, and may 2007 be all that God has for you in your relationships.

I pray in your decisions you will be guided by the Holy Ghost and may the Word of God give you wisdom.

2- And Be in Health:the next prayer is that our church family be blessed physically.

I pray over every one year check up that the Doctor gives a good report. I pray over every Cat-Scan or MRI, Ultrasound that the graphs show up good. I pray that any checks for cancer or other diseases will come up negative-which means a good report.

I pray over peoples bones that they be strong, I pray against pains Against viruses coming against the homes. I pray that God would bless you with good results from the dentists office.

I pray, that you Like Caleb and Moses strong in your older age. I pray that you will be able to enjoy activities that require you to walk long distances. If you need to lose weight it’s my prayer that you reach your goal in 2007.

If you have been given a bad report from the Dr. We pray together that you would get a good report the next time you visit the Dr. My prayer for you is that you get sooooo strong that you can get off, or reduce all your medications.

3. Even As Your Soul Prospers: Here is the most important pastoral prayer.

I pray that you reach your Spiritual goals in 2007. My prayer is that each one of us would win souls for Christ., give to build the Kingdom of God. And God to use your talents, gifts and ability to be a blessing in the Kingdom of God.

I pray that you overcome temptations that face you , and you walk in the Spirit over the flesh.

I pray that you get opportunities to share the Gospel,preach,teach, minister in song, drama, be used in playing an instrument, in ushering,. To use every opportunity given us for His Glory.

My prayer is that we experience a great revival, that we see miracles,people being delivered from addictions,and that our church grow beyond all measure Spiritually, and numerically. I pray that everyone will Stay in the WORD, pray for the Church and it’s leaders, move into greater worship and Keep your hearts and lives pleasing to God.

I pray that you make it to heaven. If the rapture happens this year 2007 I pray that everyone of us goes up and no one is left behind. Or that you are taken by way if the grave. That you are saved and are ready for heaven not just arrive there by the skin of your teeth.

My prayer is that no obstacle will keep you from serving God,no giant will be too big, no mountain will be too high, and no enemy too strong for you to overcome in the Lord.

Concl:

Prosper, be in health, may your soul prosper.

If you notice, it all hinges on your soul prospering. If you are not spiritually right, it will affect your physical well being. It will affect your financial well being, it will affect your relationships with others. I promise, you get right with God you will get right with everything else.You seek Him first,and He will take care of your life. The battle is the Lords, seek first his Kingdom and all these other things will be added unto you. Everything that you need to live the life that He has planned for you.
