Plan for: Thanksgiving | Advent | Christmas
The intensity of God's power within us often attracts greater challenges. The higher the anointing, the fiercer the conflict. The brighter our destiny, the more severe our adversaries. However, through persistent prayer, we can overcome these afflictions.
The Bible clearly states that Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8). One of these works is affliction. In this eye-opening message, we will explore the power of God to turn around our situations, deliver us from affliction, and empower us to overcome our enemies. Affliction may arise in the lives of the righteous, but the Lord promises to deliver us from them all (Psalm 34:19-20). Let us dive into this powerful teaching and receive our freedom!
Affliction brings pain, suffering, embarrassment, weakness, trouble, distress, oppression, and torment. It knocks us down and burdens us. It is important to recognize that affliction can rise again in our lives if not dealt with properly.
1. Affliction on a killing mission: Some afflictions aim to take our lives and will persist until they succeed.
2. Affliction programmed to torment: These afflictions are instructed by the devil to ensure we have no peace. They relentlessly pursue us.
3. Affliction that is bound but not dead: Some afflictions may seem subdued but can resurface if not completely destroyed.
Jesus has given us authority over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). We have the ability to tread upon serpents and scorpions, symbolizing our victory over affliction. When we confront affliction with the power of God, it will be crushed.
The enemy desires our destruction, not just temporary setbacks. They seek to kill, steal, and destroy (John 10:10). Poverty, sickness, and other forms of affliction are tools they use. We must rise up in the power of God and defeat these enemies.
1. Prayers of authority: Command the spirit behind affliction to leave in the name of Jesus.
2. Prayers to disobey evil commands: Reject any instructions from the enemy that lead to despair or harm.
3. Prayers that undo the works of the enemy: Declare the reversal of affliction in your life.
4. Prayers to silence the angel of death: Ask God to protect you from any forces seeking to harm you.
5. Prayers that address the elements: Command the earth, seas, and heavens to align with God's purposes in your life.
6. Prayers to force evil powers to vomit what they have swallowed: Demand that any stolen blessings or portions be returned.
7. Prayers to force wicked powers to drink their own blood and eat their own flesh: Invoke divine judgment upon those who seek your harm.
8. Prayers to force evil powers to carry out your orders: Command them to obey your commands in the name of Jesus.
9. Prayers that issue judgment: Invoke God's judgment upon your enemies and their works.
10. Prayers that divert arrows: Redirect any attacks or curses back to their senders.
Affliction may arise in the lives of believers, but we have been given the power to overcome through Jesus Christ. By praying with authority and relying on the power of God, we can destroy affliction and experience freedom. Let us take these prayer points seriously and engage in spiritual warfare against every form of affliction. May God grant us victory and deliverance from all our enemies.
