Psalm 46 - Our Refuge 1. There Is A Refuge - 1-3

A Very Powerful Refuge - 1 God is our refuge and strength,

A Very Personnal Refuge - our refuge and strength

A Very Punctual Refuge - a very present help in trouble. A Very Practical Refuge - 2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; 2. There Is A River -

4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. God’s Serenity - 4 There is a river,

God’s Sufficiency - streams whereof shall make glad the city of God God’s Sanctity - the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High God’s Stability - 5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved God’s Security - 5 God shall help her, and that right early.

3. There Is A Rage -

6 The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved he uttered his voice, the earth melted.

God's Presence - 7 The LORD of hosts is with us;

God's Promise - the God of Jacob

God's Protection - is our refuge. Selah. God's Performance - 8 Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he hath made in the earth. God’s Preeminence - 9 He maketh wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaketh the bow, and cutteth the spear in sunder; he burneth the chariot in the fire.

5. There Is A Rest - 46:10,11

It's Requirement - 10 "Be still"

It's Recognition - 10 "and know that I am God"

It's Revelation - 10 "I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth...." It's Reign - 11 "The LORD of hosts is with us"

It's Refuge - 11 "The God of Jacob is our refuge"

It's Resolve - 11 "Selah"
