VI. TITLE:

Our GOD is 24/7

VII. EXPLICATION:

B. Date written: c. 1440 to 450 B.C. ( From Moses to Ezra)

C. Purpose: 150 songs to praise and worship GOD

D. To whom written: Sometimes to GOD, sometimes to author

E. Main Themes: praise and worship, prayer and praise

I have compared GOD with 7/11 stores, which are in every corner and open 24 hours. But we know GOD is infinitely so much more.

VIII. MAIN BODY:

A. Our GOD is Righteous Judge

"God is a righteous Judge"

Righteous or "tsaddyq" in Hebrew meaning:

1. just, lawful, righteous

Psalms 7:8 (Amplified Bible)

7:8 The Lord judges the people; judge me, O Lord, and do me justice according to my righteousness [my rightness, justice, and right standing with You] and according to the integrity that is in me.

Psalms 94:15 (Amplified Bible)

94:15 For justice will return to the [uncompromisingly] righteous, and all the upright in heart will follow it.

Psalms 140:12-13 (Amplified Bible)

140:12 I know and rest in confidence upon it that the Lord will maintain the cause of the afflicted, and will secure justice for the poor and needy [of His believing children].

140:13 Surely the [uncompromisingly] righteous shall give thanks to Your name; the upright shall dwell in Your presence (before Your very face).

B. Our GOD takes revenge everyday

"yes, a God Who is indignant every day."

What about the wealthy who gathers up money for himself and is constantly wicked?

The LORD punishes them everyday, I asked GOD about it, "How?" They live in luxury and money. The LORD answered.

James 1:11 (Amplified Bible)

1:11 For the sun comes up with a scorching heat and parches the grass; its flower falls off and its beauty fades away. Even so will the rich man wither and die in the midst of his pursuits.

Isaiah 40:6-7 (Amplified Bible)

40:6 A voice says, Cry [prophesy]! And I said, What shall I cry? [The voice answered, Proclaim:] All flesh is as frail as grass, and all that makes it attractive [its kindness, its goodwill, its mercy from God, its glory and comeliness, however good] is transitory, like the flower of the field.

40:7 The grass withers, the flower fades, when the breath of the Lord blows upon it; surely [all] the people are like grass.

The bible calls unbelievers grass, however rich they are, they're still grass in GOD's sight, while the righteous is called a tree.

Psalms 1:2-3 (Amplified Bible)

1:2 But his delight and desire are in the law of the Lord, and on His law (the precepts, the instructions, the teachings of God) he habitually meditates (ponders and studies) by day and by night.

1:3 And he shall be like a tree firmly planted [and tended] by the streams of water, ready to bring forth its fruit in its season; its leaf also shall not fade or wither; and everything he does shall prosper [and come to maturity].

Illustration:

The wicked rises up to WORK, rises up early to WORK early, and rises up late to WORK late. The righteous rises up early to WORSHIP the LORD, rises up late to WORSHIP the LORD late, rises up to WORSHIP the LORD.

Proverbs 8:17 (Amplified Bible)

8:17 I love those who love me, and those who seek me early and diligently shall find me.

This is the reason why celebrities in Hollywood die every day of suicide because they are in sorrow and pain because they are slave of their work and money.

Proverbs 10:22 (Amplified Bible)

10:22 The blessing of the Lord—it makes [truly] rich, and He adds no sorrow with it [neither does toiling increase it].

IX. CONCLUSION:

Illustration: Same sun but different materials placed on front of it, one is clay which gets hard when exposed to sun, while candle melts when exposed to sun. We are the candle that melts in GOD's Presence while the wicked are clay that gets hard hearts when exposed to the LORD's Presence.

Proverbs 10:29 (Amplified Bible)

10:29 The way of the Lord is strength and a stronghold to the upright, but it is destruction to the workers of iniquity.

The righteous rises up to bless, the wicked rises up to work.
