Hebrews 9:7 (Amplified Bible)

9:7 But into the second [division of the tabernacle] none but the high priest goes, and he only once a year, and never without taking a sacrifice of blood with him, which he offers for himself and for the errors and sins of ignorance and thoughtlessness which the people have committed.

Leviticus 16:15 (Amplified Bible)

16:15 Then shall he kill the goat of the sin offering that is for [the sins of] the people and bring its blood within the veil [into the Holy of Holies] and do with that blood as he did with the blood of the bull, and sprinkle it on the mercy seat and before the mercy seat.

Hebrews 2:17 (Amplified Bible)

2:17 So it is evident that it was essential that He be made like His brethren in every respect, in order that He might become a merciful (sympathetic) and faithful High Priest in the things related to God, to make atonement and propitiation for the people's sins.

V. THESIS:

Thank You very much LORD JESUS You have set the very example we can follow that You died to save the world, now we live to show You to this world that You can resurrect them. VIII. MAIN BODY:

A. The Most Holy Place is intended for only high priests to take blood sacrifice with him

"But into the second [division of the tabernacle] none but the high priest goes, and he only once a year, and never without taking a sacrifice of blood with him,"

Hebrews 9:24-25 (Amplified Bible)

9:24 For Christ (the Messiah) has not entered into a sanctuary made with [human] hands, only a copy and pattern and type of the true one, but [He has entered] into heaven itself, now to appear in the [very] presence of God on our behalf.

9:25 Nor did He [enter into the heavenly sanctuary to] offer Himself regularly again and again, as the high priest enters the [Holy of] Holies every year with blood not his own.

Hebrews 7:27 (Amplified Bible)

7:27 He has no day by day necessity, as [do each of these other] high priests, to offer sacrifice first of all for his own [personal] sins and then for those of the people, because He [met all the requirements] once for all when He brought Himself [as a sacrifice] which He offered up.

Hebrews 10:19-20 (Amplified Bible)

10:19 Therefore, brethren, since we have full freedom and confidence to enter into the [Holy of] Holies [by the power and virtue] in the blood of Jesus,

10:20 By this fresh (new) and living way which He initiated and dedicated and opened for us through the separating curtain (veil of the Holy of Holies), that is, through His flesh,

Unlike the human high priests, JESUS has to do it once for all, He only offered Himself once for the sins of the people, because He has no sin, and now enters Heaven itself with His own blood that redeemed us from the power of the law, sin, death, devil, this world and sicknesses and diseases.

B. The high priest offers blood for himself and for the errors, sins of ignorance and thoughtlessness which the people have committed.

"which he offers for himself and for the errors and sins of ignorance and thoughtlessness which the people have committed"

Hebrews 5:1-3 (Amplified Bible)

5:1 FOR EVERY high priest chosen from among men is appointed to act on behalf of men in things relating to God, to offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins.

5:2 He is able to exercise gentleness and forbearance toward the ignorant and erring, since he himself also is liable to moral weakness and physical infirmity.

5:3 And because of this he is obliged to offer sacrifice for his own sins, as well as for those of the people.
