ONLY on that day

Joshua 6:15”…..only on that day they marched around the city seven times.”

Every step was strategically planned as per the instructions of God to Joshua, nothing were overlooked, ignored or delayed, every Word of God was followed ‘to a T’; that was the reason behind the fall of the Jericho walls! Anybody listening? If you’re wondering why, why, why, why are the falls not falling then this message should speak to you!

On the last day, which was very crucial, the Israelites came around the walls 7 times, ‘more prayer’ is needed as you get near the miracle because the heat is intensified to frustrate us. Listen again: ‘the heat is intensified to frustrate us!’ So, whenever you face ‘no more Lord’ situation, then be assured that your deliverance and breakthrough is round the corner. Hurray! Pray hard for God to thwart the plans of the evil forces!

On the day of marriage, I was with a family, where the mother arranged the marriage of her daughter with a Christian, even though her father was a hindu; however, God expected much prayer on that day, since it was a Christian wedding. Ah! Much job to be done, I woke up in the wee hours of the day, very early and waited for the bride and her mother to join me for prayer ( I had given coaching the previous night explaining the importance of prayer) but the bride was more keen on washing her hair and getting ready for the beauty parlor. Alas! Eventually the make-up was ghastly, the bride was late, expected people did not turn up to anchor the function, net-net it was chaos. Joshua wisely went around the walls 7 times thus telling God – we trust you Father!

Taking a cue from Joshua, pray hard if there is crisis right now in your life, listen……listen…don’t run away from Him. Pray. Are you going for an interview, pray……….are you single, pray …………..is there a health issue, pray……………….going around the walls , around the walls, around the walls, around the walls until it falls down.
