Summary: When Pharaoh was plagued with the frogs, he cried out to Moses that he had had enough. Moses asked him when did he want God to remove them. Pharaoh said, "Tomorrow." He had to have one more night with the frogs. Why is sin so hard to let go of?

God’s people had been in bondage and oppression for many years. God’s desire was to deliver them just as it is God’s desire to see everyone delivered who are in the bondage of sin and oppression. Therefore, God sent Moses and Aaron to pharaoh with the message to let his people go. Exodus 4:22-23. Pharaoh’s attitude was: who is God that I should obey his voice? Exit 5:2. God began to deal with Pharoah by way of judgements for the deliverance of his people, Exodus 6:5-8. The first judgment was when the waters of Egypt were turned to blood. Second, was the plague of frogs. Third, what's the plague of lice. 4th, the plague of flies. 5th was the death of the Egyptians livestock. The judgment of boils, hell and fire, locusts, darkness, and 10th, the judgment of death!

Ten terrible judgments. I want to zero in on just one today, the plague of frogs. This is an interesting story, Exodus 8:1-6. I want us to see three things. The frogs are a type of sin. Second, only God could help get rid of the frogs and lastly, I want you to see the foolishness of Pharaoh.

II. Only God Could Get Rid of the Frogs

1. These Egyptians could no more get rid of the frogs than you can get rid of the sin in your life, Jeremiah 17:9; Ecclesiastes 8:11

III. The Foolishness of Pharaoh

3. You who are saved, why don’t you tithe, witness, be faithful, pray, read your Bible, act right, dress right?

a. You want one more night in the sin you have slipped into.

4. Why do people reject Christ? why do Christians refuse to live for Him?

5. It is the same with those who reject Christ. Romans 6:23, your sins are not worth what you will have to pay for them one day.

6. You can say no to God, and you will die one day, hopeless, without the treasure of God, lost.

7. Why not come to Him today and settle the sin problem? Romans 10:9-10, 1 John 1:9
