VIII. MAIN BODY:

A. Old testament's blood of goats and bulls, ashes of burnt heifer

"For if [the mere] sprinkling of unholy and defiled persons with blood of goats and bulls and with the ashes of a burnt heifer"

Leviticus 16:14 (Amplified Bible)

16:14 He shall take of the bull’s blood and sprinkle it with his finger on the front [the east side] of the mercy seat, and before the mercy seat he shall sprinkle of the blood with his finger seven times.

Leviticus 16:16 (Amplified Bible)

16:16 Thus he shall make atonement for the Holy Place because of the uncleanness of the Israelites and because of their transgressions, even all their sins; and so shall he do for the Tent of Meeting, that remains among them in the midst of their uncleanness.

Atonement or Hebrew word: "kaphar" has a lot of meaning but the one that applies in the Old Testament is "to cover", that's why in the New Testament our sins are no longer covered up, but forgiven and cleansed.

To illustrate, same garbage can was used, in the Old Testament the garbage can has still garbage inside of it, but it has a cover, in the New Testament, the garbage can's garbage was thrown out, the garbage can was washed and soaped clean, and made like new. This same garbage can which is an illustration of us, now holds the Presence of the LORD JESUS CHRIST, whenever we come to the FATHER begging forgiveness for all our sins, all He can say is "you got nothing wrong inside of you, you are cleansed and all I can see inside of you is the LORD JESUS CHRIST.

Colossians 2:13 (Amplified Bible)

2:13 And you who were dead in trespasses and in the uncircumcision of your flesh (your sensuality, your sinful carnal nature), [God] brought to life together with [Christ], having [freely] forgiven us all our transgressions,

1 John 2:12 (Amplified Bible)

2:12 I am writing to you, little children, because for His name’s sake your sins are forgiven [pardoned through His name and on account of confessing His name].

Hebrews 10:3-9 (Amplified Bible)

10:3 But [as it is] these sacrifices annually bring a fresh remembrance of sins [to be atoned for],

10:4 Because the blood of bulls and goats is powerless to take sins away.

10:5 Hence, when He [Christ] entered into the world, He said, Sacrifices and offerings You have not desired, but instead You have made ready a body for Me [to offer];

10:6 In burnt offerings and sin offerings You have taken no delight.

10:7 Then I said, Behold, here I am, coming to do Your will, O God—[to fulfill ] what is written of Me in the volume of the Book.

10:8 When He said just before, You have neither desired, nor have You taken delight in sacrifices and offerings and burnt offerings and sin offerings—all of which are offered according to the Law—

10:9 He then went on to say, Behold, [here] I am, coming to do Your will. Thus He does away with and annuls the first (former) order [as a means of expiating sin] so that He might inaugurate and establish the second (latter) order.

No church or ministry on earth can fully declare that a church or any individual is still under the Law if he does cover up his sins or does the ritual of the Law, one may do them, but it's a laughing thing, since CHRIST had already annulled and cancelled all things pertaining to the Law because of His finished work on the cross.
