WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER A GREAT REVIVAL

Luke 22:28 Ye are they which have continued with me in my temptations.

29And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me;

30That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

31And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:

32But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.

33And he said unto him, Lord, I am ready to go with thee, both into prison, and to death.

34And he said, I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me

We just had a great time in the Lord every service we had a great sermon, songs, praying

And Christians meeting to worship and lift up our Lord Jesus ,win souls. Now through it all the Devil has fought us with every ounce of his power.

Here is what comes after these blessed meetings.

1. A BIG FIGHT WITH SATAN.

Eph: 6: 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

A. Satan will hinder your time and talents.

B. Sin will get in your family and friends.

C. Self no use you tried this before. It want work now.

2. A FUSS WITH THE SLACKERS.

Rom:16:17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.

A. Careless about prayer ,Bible reading and service attendance.

B. Cold toward the Holy Spirit.

C. Critical about the Church and its people.

3.THE FAITHFULNESS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.

Rom:8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

15For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

16The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

17And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

A. He was present in every service.

B .His warmth warns every soul to yield to him.

C. He furnished the conviction to every soul to give God the glory.

D. THE FRIENDS TO THE FAITHFULLY SERVE.

Gal: 5: 13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.

A. Not fair weather but faithful.

B. Not fly by nigh “one night” but faithful.

C. Not fickle but firmly fixed on Jesus.

E. YOUR FAITH IN CHRIST MUST STAND.

2Tim:1:12 For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.

A. Your faith is in a person --- The Lord Jesus

B. Your faith is in a promise---- From the Lord

C. Your faith is in the power ---- The Holy Spirit.

F. THE FAILURES OF THE SHALLOW.

Luke 13:12 And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity.

A. If its fake --- it will flop.

B. If its false--- it will fall

C. If it’s a sham --- it will show

D. If it’s a front---- it will fail.

G. FRUIT IN SALVATION AND SINNERS.

Psalm 126: 6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.

A .Worship and win people

B. Witness and win to Christ

C. Work and see lost saved.
