Obedience To God, Sign Of Love And Reverence

Topic: OBEDIENCE TO GOD, A SIGN OF LOVE AND REVERENCE

John 14:30-31 King James Version (KJV)

30 Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.

31 But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.

Beloved, we have a Lord and Master, a Saviour, a Senior Brother who is wisdom and therefore we need to study Him and emulate Him.

We are not to always fight, or fight back or wait for something to happen and defend. Sometimes we just have to move away in obedience to God.

Beloved, the devil has no authority over Jesus And can never prevail against Jesus. But obedience to the Father is paramount to Jesus and it shows the love, further more the depth of love Jesus has for the Father.

Beloved obeying God Almighty, Jesus Christ and Precious Holy Spirit is paramount to all things and should be the chief desire in your heart for obedience is a sign of true love when a Christian exhibits that for God.

The world obeys because of fear or love, so you can never be sure about them but for us the children of God we obey because of love for the Father.

Obedience is a sign of respect and reverence. You can't revere someone you don't love. It is impossible.

Jesus did this act to show us that, you may have the power and might and all things to fight or defend or overcome or whatever but you will need to hear from God Almighty and obey Him.

Do what Jesus wants you to do not what your emotions or intellect or this world pushes you to do.

Beloved obeying God is about obeying and following Jesus and no one else. *IT'S ALL ABOUT JESUS* and we have to live it as Christians without fail.
